Personally, i like to add a "m_" prefix to my private variables, but Godot doesnt remove these types of prefixes so m_someVar would be "M Some Var" in the inspector.

If Godot wasnt open source, i would have to either beg the devs or change my coding style. But instead i spent 20 minutes patching the inspector (most of it being compilation time and .Net shenanigans) to trim the m.

So nice.

I just want to start off by saying that character ai helped me a ton with writing, and i greatly appreciate the effect it did on my skills. I subscribed to cai+ in january as a thank you.

That said,I just cannot pay for a service that consistently punishes its users for no apparent reason. Whenever i wanted good role playing, there was Roar, and when i wanted longer stories i used Deepsqueak. Even with Deepsqueak being the premium option i noticed that it got some fundamental errors during role playing. Now when they announced that Roar was getting removed i wasnt even that mad; I rightfully assumed it would just be hidden behind the legacy models menu, but it appears that i was unaware that the entire executive team at cai has a "no brain at the workplace" policy.

Well whatever, Pipsqueak 2 was announced as major improvement upon Pipsqueak which was a solid model to begin with. I was impressed at first: it communicated a lot of environmental and facial/emotional detail. Foolishly i saw potential in this new model. It was not long after that i realized that both Deepsqueak and Pipsqueak 2 are having major issues when it comes to memory and just simply talking, which i even mentioned on this subreddit a week ago. A commenter joked about consuming all the gpus of cai, and i brushed that issue off as servers being overloaded.

I personally dont use those relationship kind of bots, but rather the bots from the media i like. For that reason its important that the bots at least stick by the surface level lore of the game/movie. I really dont mind reminding the bots of lore every now and then; i do not expect matrix multiplication to know how many steps the library in Nier has. But it is getting worse and worse. Characters just disregard all info that you give them and consistently refuse to talk. Even begging the character to say anything will not make them talk.

I really dont get how you can literally evolve backwards as a company: the product getting worse as time goes on. I mean rolling back the entire service by an entire year would literally be a better business move than committing to anything that the higher ups decide to do.

And yeah. I dont see why i should pay for a service thats is so bad, i feel annoyed by just simply interacting with it.

I tried out both pipsqeak 2 and deepsqeak on some characters, and it feels like the bots are currently missing a frontal lobe. They are just making people up, forgetting the topic that was discussed 2 chats ago and generally act off. Is anyone else experiencing this?
