Born to support Messi and Antonella, Forced to support Ronlander

She 100% celebrated Argentina's world cup win in 2022 when Homelander wasnt looking, probably called Antonella as well afterwards.

What is your favourite Fifa World Cup intro and why?

For me it has to be the 2014 world cup intro mainly because it was my first ever world cup that i watched and also because its simply timeless, even this summer when i listiened to it on youtube it brought back so many wonderful memories for me watching the world cup in summer 2014. Would love to know yours!

A trend I noticed

Harvey grew up in a household where his mom cheated on his dad and a brother who lets face it failed Harvey from a sibling point of view, and this shaped him into the man he became into adulthood

Donna grew up in a household where her dad pretty sure lost his big mansion due to betting on some scheme that didnt work out

Jessica grew up with just her dad since I recall her parents got divorced and she talked about it a few times with others, and a dad who didnt approve of her dreams to become a lawyer whilst her being isolated from the rest of her family for many years

Mike grew up for most of his childhood as an orphan as we all know and of course getting expelled

Rachel while growing up in a wealthy family due to her dad being Robert Zane always felt like she had something to prove that she is more than good enough on her own and to step out of her father's shadow though from the many instances of them interacting it always felt like conflict

Only Louis had a family that for the most part had no trouble, I really wish that one of the other characters had a happy childhood where they were supported by their family withotu conflict all the way and then they face trouble and figure it out as opposed to a rather sad backstory if you get what I mean

About Bailey

To be honest i really liked Bailey when she was initally introduced in season 3 because I thought the story of how her and Nolan met was wholesome imo. In fact when I noticed majority of the fanbase happen to strongly dislike her I couldnt understand why. Though upon rewatching the show I kind of see it now. I personally dislike how the writers made her so perfect like someone who is a firefighter, emt, army reserve, etc. Even though the show is not meant to be taken seriously i think this was a bad idea giving somoene "superhero" status. Plus i dont like how she is everywhere, i know shes Nolan's wife but being a firefighter first I feel she should only be in scenarios that really need a firefighter, not otherwise. Like with Grace I understood her being in the scenes that she was in because her being a doctor and thinking rationally, cops can get injured anytime anywhere so they would naturally require medical attention, but a firefighter going to Prague for a non fire related mission? Im not sure about that.

I also noticed a lot of people said that Nolan and Bailey dont have chemistry which I also initally disagreed with but after re-watching the show I get what they mean. Might just be me but it feels a lot like Nolan is doing the heavy lifting to keep this marriage together in terms of supporting one another and just being a good partner and husband. I do think Grace and Nolan had better chemistry maybe because for one they had known each other since college and so likely had a lot of things in common and their chemsitry felt more organic than bailey and nolan, though i understand the actress who plays Grace got a role in another show so I understand why they wrote her off. I even like Nolan and Genny (Tim' sister), because for one they have plenty in common already (having been divorced before, having kids) and plus from a writer's standpoint imagine a story where Tim, Lucy and Nolan are all related somewhat. that I would be very excited to see, and also Tim's reaction to Nolan dating his sister.

And then there is the whole Malvado incident, this is where i think I started to really not like Bailey and its kind of sticked throughout her character. I feel she could have dealt with the situation in a better way, i understand she did it to save herself from her ex husband and that every character has commited a crime in the show before but the problems i see are two fold (shes' married to a cop and a very competent one at that who has shown to be more than capable of protecting his loved ones and making him out to be the one whos wrong? Im not so sure about that) and (unlike Tim, Wesley, Nyla, Nolan, Lucy, she never faced any consequences for her actions (crminal conspiracy, accesory to murder after the fact and obstruction of justice) and so the show went on as if it never happen, thats i think why Bailey grinds so many people's gears. If the writers showed her being punished in some way and her growing from it as a characters Im very confident she would be more liked today.

What should the writers do

Honeslty I see two very straightforward options:

Write her off: The show's fanbase has consistently voiced their dislike for her and if the writers do actually read their concerns perhaps they can write her off the show be it divorcing Nolan or her having a hero's death (the second one seems more plausible and appropriate for her type of character), and with Jenna Dewan aparently joining DWTS for the next season this might be a good oppurtunity to do that.

Improve her character: Honeslty I think a great way to improve Bailey is well to first go to therapy, her having a pathological need for movement according to Nolan is actually quite accurate since she has so many jobs perhaps its a coping mechanism from her past marriage which i understand but we have since Tim and Aaron go to therpy and expereince actual character growth so this migth be the best frist step for her. Also her having some beilivable flaws that are relatable to the audeince may go a long way in her being more liked since the whole Super Bailey thing is far too unrealistic and just i think rubs people the wrmg way, and i also think she should face some consequences for the Malvado storyline, we have seen with Seth that a character can be punished for something that they did a while ago (when Lucy and TIm questioned him about the forest fire incident), and that way Bailey perhaps could learn to ask for help from Nolan or the station or whatever rather than resorting to such extreme measures.

Would like to know your thoughts.

Really miss Eric Woodall. Honestly wanted to see more of him

He was a jerk but the guy who played him did it very well. When Mike and Harold got arrested he got me more scared than Anita Gibbs, to be honest.

My thoughts on Max

For context I am a lewis fan to my core but I have so much admiration and respect for Max. Yes 2021 was painful but Max 100% deserves the championship, he just so happens to be the beneficiary of poor race direction. Besides that while it was boring to see him dominate 2022 and 2023, seeing Lewis do the same all those years ago I have come to respect it all the same. I came around to Max after how he won 2024, with that dog of a car that was the RB20, and I think his win in Brazil is one of my favourite wins of any driver and reminds me a lot of Lewis' win in Germany 2018. Dare i say it I think he deserved to win 2025 more than Lando because of how much Max had to go through with such a poor car in the first half of last season and how in the biggest moments he rose to the occasion. Him finishing just 2 points shy of the title is a miracle all things considered, perhaps thats why I feel bad for all that he is having to endure this season. If there is anyone I want Lewis to be fighting for a title with its Max, i truly think Max is the only driver who pound for pound could give Lewis a run for his money based on pure merit and no external intervention. i hope Red Bull get themselves together and give Max the car he deserves and I hope to see him and Lewis battle it out just like in 2021.

Michael Olise is the Kawhi Leonard of Football imo

If any of you watch basketball in addition to football you may get what im on about but not just the way they both are off the pitch/court but on it as well, they almost always let their game do their talking. Of course in the media and all they are very camera shy and introverted and keep their answers rather breif but purely talent wise they share a lot in common as well from what I have observedThoughts?

Thoughts on this weekend

Honestly i expected a lot more because ferrari had a big upgrade coming but i guess it wasnt meant to be this weekend. Mercedes and Mclaren had a bit too much pace for ferrari and while lewis got p4 i would have hoped for a little bit more. Now he is 59 points behind with 11 races left. With monza up next I really hope that ferrari's engine upgrade delivers and with Kimi aparently taking a grid penalty I am hoping Lewis can get a win especially with monza being actually a difficult to overtake on, hope ferrari dont screw him with the strategy and all though

Why do all the characters have such a broken family

Tim grew up with an abusive father

Nolan and Lopez' both grew up without fathers but Nolan's mom was a pathological liar, and lopez's mom while she spent most of her time focusing on Angela's brothers at least apologized to her for not spending more time with her

Chen grew up with parents who didnt support her career and she said herself that she doesnt talk to them often

Celina's mom lied to her for her whole life about celina's childhood

Wesley's I dont rememebr much about

Bailey didnt even have parents and grew up with her grandma

Jackson i recall saying that he had only recently started spending time with his family and plus I feel he had not the best relationship with his dad because of the high stnadards of his dad being commander at internal affairs and how West for majority of his time on the show had a perfectionsist kind of personality because of it

Wade's parents we know nothing about

Only harper seems to have a good relationship throughout the show with her family (her mom since I dont recall anything about ehr dad)

i kind of wish that maybe another character had a more wholesome childhood though

Who do you want Laufey to collab with one day

I'll start

Hope Tala - Her vocals I feel would be a perfect compliment to laufey's and just like her she loves using bossa nova in her music (recomend listeining to tiptoeing and mad)

Raveena - Her musical elements are a unique constrast to laufey's because it used a lot of indian elements (owing to her heritage), and her vocals like hope also I feel would blend really well with laufey

Sombr - This we have already seen before as Laufey and Sombr performed together live in November 2025 and i personally really liked it, their styles are the complete opposite but I just feel it would work nicely

Michael Bublé - This seems like a perfect match imo, they both have very smooth vocals and a wonderful musical cadence to their work and I just feel buble would love a song that incorporates as many jazz elements as laufey's usual stuff.

This beat is so Laufey coded

I was playing fifa 19 recently and i heard this and immediately it gave me vibes to the type of music Laufey makes, the melodic elements and bossa nova - esque instrumentations, and claps are exactly what i would hear from laufey. I know this is a hip hop/ rap song but it feels so familar, and dare i say it I think she would do awesome things on a beat like this, maybe taking this as an inspiration for future work could be great. What do you guys think

In my opinion Stoner will forever be Ducati's greatest ever rider

Yes I know Pecco and Marquez both have enjoyed great success there but no matter how many more championships they win, I feel in 10-15 years people will still associate Marc with Honda because of just how dominant he was when his bike wasnt trying to injure him, plus Stoner was the one who really helped Ducati stay competitive while he was there and with the compeition he had to beat. Clearly both Stoner and Ducati still have immense respect for each other since I recall Ducati having Stoner one weekend to help Pecco with his setup and all and such, I was just thinking this, let me know your guys' thoughts
