Apoc shadow is balanced around getting big buffs when you are able to break it. But this stupid boss has so much toughness that you are forced to end up bruteforcing it against that high damage resistance because it just doesnt break fast enough unless you are using some specialized comps. Ashveils ultimate only shreds 5% of the total toughness as you can see in the picture and its only 1 of the 4 parts, you have to break all 4. Genuine hell of an apoc shadow with 3 extra shilled bosses. Its still the easier one out of the 3 i guess but all three bosses annoy the hell out of me

Idk what Im doing wrong, I have all of her best teammates, yet I could only 4 cycle the AA king with her (E0S1 HimeNova, rest E0S0). After I failed 3 stars with her I tried Ashblade (Ashveil E0S1 rest E0S0) and I could actually get it done in 2 cycles to get 3 stars. The difference is insane considering this is literally Himenova's shill patch. Maybe its because my welt is E1, but with how people were saying she gaps everyone in her beta even with E0 Welt, Im kinda whelmed. Anyone was able to 3 star with E0 (limiteds) Himenova team?
I have seen many say to solve his kit problems his elation damage only needs to count as FuA because he cant make use of most of Ashblade's buff. I think people are over exaggerating that part. Lets see what buff Ashveil and Blade provide.
Ashveil - 40% defense shred, 40% crit damage buff, 80% FuA only crit damage buff
Mortenax Blade - 30% def shred, 50% vulnerability, 50% damage bonus.
Waventurine can make use of the combined 70% def shred, 40% crit damage and 50% vulnerability still. He is only losing out on 80% crit dmg buff and ....50% damage buff (this one would probably never work with elation anyways no matter what). Crit damage is one of the most oversaturated stats in the game. Aventurine gets 90%+ crit damage from his kit just by existing. Sure his elation damage counting as FuA will let him make use of Ashveils extra crit dmg buff, but it wont be as significant as people are saying. Big portion of Ashveil's buffs are actually universal, not FuA centric
Avens kits real problem is that his kit is just meh. Even if you play him in elation team he gets mogged by SW and Eva. To do better, he needs to give some teamwide buffs because Ashblade do so much damage putting them with a character who doesnt give any buff feels like a waste, this is why Waven is getting beaten by SRobin in his own supposed team. Another option is him having much bigger damage numbers, to the point that Ashblade's personal damage wont be as necessary. Making his elation damage count as FuA wont help much so lets stop parroting that
