Making the jump. LP2 or LP3?

I’m not looking for tech specs, or the obvious LP3 has a camera, etc. etc.

From people who have transitioned from addiction on smart phones, AND used BOTH the LP2 and LP3, if you had to do it again, would you stick with the LP2 or LP3?

Do both work on Mint mobile as well in the US?

Thanks!

Help with pumps and hoses

Hey everyone, need some pump help.

Our intex pool came with the small hoses (are they 1 or 1.25?) we got the upgraded sx1500 pump.

Is it worth it to just make all of the water lines the 1.5 that came with the pump? Or should we keep the two lines smaller going towards the T and into the pump?

Or can we just plug one of the holes and do 1 hose out instead of 2 since our pump is a bit overkill for our pool? 12x30 intex.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

Is it even worth it?

Probably get flamed but what else is Reddit for?

Spouse really wants to by some land and build. Wants something simple to keep costs down.

Is it even worth building to try and save money? My gut says no. $100-$200k for land, $300k for a house, barndo, or what not, I’m over $500k before anything goes wrong.

I can find lots of options under $500k on some land.

But my spouse keeps saying they see people building homes for $60/sqft, or $80/sqft.

This seems impossible. We talked to one builder and they estimated $60/sqft for just a barndo shell and concrete slab.

I’m just confused. Halp.

Garage heater

How much did it cost to get a gas garage heater installed?

Looking around and getting really high quotes, not sure if it’s the I don’t want to do it price or the going rate.

Brake cost?

Just got quoted $540 an axle for brakes on our 23 limited.

Is this the going rate? I’ve typically done these jobs myself on other vehicles but was told if you don’t have the computer to put it into service mode I’d be forced to go to a dealer.

$300 and I can get pads and rotors for the entire thing, and spend 2 hours cussing and loosing 10mm sockets instead of a grand for brakes…..

Thinking of switching, pros/cons?

ATT just upped my bill again. Two lines, phones are paid off. Only reason I haven’t ditched ATT is due to the wonderful service in BFE. I am ALWAYS the last person to loose service in the middle of no where.

But the price just keeps rising, and I keep seeing stuff for mint. Is it worth the switch? Anything super bad or reasons you wish you didn’t switch?

Thanks!

Craftsman LT2000 hitch plate mounting

Looking for some help, the top two bolts (one left side and one right) holding my rear hitch plate on are gone. Whether they just fell out, or were never put back and I had no idea, doesn’t matter. They’re gone and I need new ones lol

Can anyone confirm if they are just a small nut snd bolt, or do they thread into the frame, or is it some massive bolt that goes all the way through? Parts diagrams I can find don’t seem to show this very good at all. I can’t find what I need.

Circled what is missing in the attached photo.

Thanks!

Deck covering

So our house has a deck (surprise surprise), and my wife wants one of those sun shade sail things over it to help shade it.

I do not want anything mounted to the house (deck is raised so it’s not high enough, and we have old siding so it’ll just break apart). I suggested we just drop 6x6s into the ground outside around the deck, and my wife asked why I can’t just mount them onto the deck on the top.

I’m a pretty solid DIYer, but I haven’t done any deck work and do not want to undermine the structural integrity of the deck.

Footings seem solid, everything is in good shape, it’s probably 10ish, or less years old I believe if I remember right.

Pros, cons, reasons or things to consider about mounting posts on top of the deck to mount this sun sail to?

M&P 22x vs Ruger MK IV

Looking for opinions from those who own or at least have shot both.

I know the differences, the after market, the specs. I’ve held them both. I don’t care that one holds twice as much, or has a threaded barrel, or comes optics ready, or anything else that is comparable on paper.

Which one is more fun to plink with?

Holding both the MK IV feels like a work of art, where the M&P feels like a toy. I love M&Ps, but wonder if the toy ish feeling will make me wish I got the MK IV?

Which do you enjoy plinking with more?

Roast my setup

Denon 1905AVR, JBL Stage 220p, JBL stage a130, random Bluetooth transmitter.

Pretty good for a couple hundo, happy with my first setup. Also picked up a paradigm CC70 for if I want to hook stuff up to the TV. The Sub is a bit overkill I feel but it leaves room to move the a130s to the rear and get bigger fronts.

Dealing with gnats, mosquitoes, etc.

Holy biting gnats.

Is there anything I can do that is effective against these little guys?

I don’t know anything about pest control. Just that I hate spraying nasty chemicals and have a full family, kids, dogs, etc. and don’t want to impact their time outside by having to have them wait a week to step foot in the yard.

We’ve got some ants, spiders, etc. inside. We’ve got mosquitoes that would be nice to cut down on outside, but the gnats are the number 1 thing that just make it horrid outside.

Again, I know nothing about pest control. Was looking at services and pestie and a few others but it seems like I could spray myself and probably have better results?

Help, tips, tricks, etc? Thanks!

▲ 1 r/Intune

I have a user who cannot sign into their intune managed iPhone. It tells them the password they typed in is wrong.

If they go to any computer, and type in the password, it lets them in. I changed their password and witnessed them do this multiple times. Same outcome.

The phone is in the same group, and setup the exact same as another 100 devices. I’ve wiped the phone multiple times to no avail.

Any idea what’s causing this?

I got a lot of help on my braking post. And now that that is under control, question about tire temps/pressures.

Pictured is post 10 laps. Gen 2 GT3. Are those good or should I adjust it?

What’s the goal with temps/pressures.

Does the goal change based on track temp, or is the end goal still the same pressure and temp regardless of the track conditions?

Thanks!
