Why would you want to specifically add backpressure to an exhaust?

For my engine, high compression racing V2 motorcycle, with short large diameter pipes, why would you want an addition of backpressure in the form of a collector chamber in the bottom.

All of the expensive brand name seem to add a chamber of sorts while cheaper options seem to just be straight pipes.

Even the most expensive option featuring a true 2/ 1 /2 feature the chamber between the two lengths.

Other than than sound, when chasing peak hp, why Add it?

Rear brake left my exc500

I took the rear brake pads off, because they popped out during bleeding, couldn't figure out how to put back the clip thingys behind the pads.

Got it all together and now I have no rear brake at all.

Pistons seem to be extending but not enough. Im so confused what I broke.

Im getting new pads, is the clip absolutely nessary?

Brand ive never seen, extremely tender.

Really yummy, no fishy flavor at all. Directly better than the normal rigga gold I consume

Help identify this caliper?

It appears to be a "ktm by braking" but i cant pinpoint a rebuild kit for it anywhere.

Googling "braking" just gets totally unrelated stuff.

Im looking for seals.

The pads are p50 by braking.

Honestly I just picked this up because I can. Did i goof?

Can i make a beringer 4 pot caliper work with a 320mm rotor?

Bikes a ktm exc series

I currently have a 320mm rotor, I found a good deal on a 4pot beringer but just found out it needs a 310mm.

Can i make it work well enough or scrap this entirely and keep stock caliper on a 320.

Help. My new warp9 is squealing.

At first I thought it was chain slider, or maybe it had to break in,

Now it's still squealing.

I white lithium greased axle opposed to blue lube i usually use in my bikes as a test run because I was losing my mind

Still squealing.

Warp9 hasn't responded, I love these wheels, fronts fine and perfect, I followed the manual, these should ve been drop ins. Im extremely confused because I decided to not get cheap kke wheels or chinese ones and this is giving me a problem for some reason.

No it's not rubbing on the brake.

This is worrying because ive never bought new wheels and I really dont want whatever happening to turn into a super expensive replacement.

Who has your favorite fender/headlight combo out of the ktms?

Also, im curious if they're all interchangeable.

I like the ktm headlight and the gas gas fender. I wonder if they'll work together.

Would you rather have too stiff or too soft springs

I put new front and rear springs in my exc500, but i didn't notice i lost a lot of weight.

Feels like its wayyy too stiff. Im 180-190lb on a good month.

I went stiffer cause I thought supermoto would need stiffer springs cause its an enduro.

Or should I get suspension rebuild.

(Im kinda broke right now, could only afford forks or shocks, not both at once - should i just wait a bit to have them both done same time?)

is a husky 701 brake system on an exc 500 an improvement for a supermoto settup?

I have a broken husky 701 i got super cheap. im thinking of cannibalizing the really nice looking brake systems: master cylin, 320 rotors etc.

does anyone know if it works? the amount of fluid it holds is significantly more and might hold me untill i invest in a full kit or require more once i get better.

also, will the clamps fit? i dont see much, but theyre nice cnc ones..

Do you think aemeath puts her hair down at home?

What about when she sleeps? How does it work?

If its always up, that means she sleeps face down right ?
