Attending a wedding next weekend

Hello, Weatherfordites! I’m in a wedding 10/10-10/11, traveling from Austin. Any impact from the RRS? Traffic during the weekend, etc? I’ve never been to Weatherford, so I have no perspective of how close or far away I’ll be from the craziness. Any advice is appreciated!

2014 6.6 Duramax coolant issues

Coolant goes into the overflow reservoir and drains out while driving. Temp gauge stays consistent, but low coolant message comes on. When this happens, the coolant reservoir is low, but the overflow is full. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What’s the appeal of corn ribs?

I’ve done them a few times now and don’t get it. More prep, same effort to eat. Someone tell me what I’m missing.

Screws not seating all the way. Pic below.

What causes this and how to fix? I’m using an impact and drilled pilot holes, but very small. Maybe larger pilot holes?

Do employees of other Austin locations talk about how the employees nor patrons of the Wells Branch location shouldn’t be allowed in public?

Chimney flashing snafu

Stucco guy fell off the face of the earth and I am not deep in resources in that trade, but have set up two appointments for later in the week. Other than doing the necessary stucco repairs in this area, any other advice on how to make sure there’s no water intrusion in the future if I can’t find a quality stucco guy in a timely manner? (We replaced an R Panel roof with Snap-lok)

We have an almost kindergartener, so we watch YouTube, Netflix, and Disney the most. I don’t know much about speed and other specifics that dictate the functionality, but we are trying to cut expenses and wondered if this is a viable option.

▲ 7 r/RoofingSales+1 crossposts

I have been in roofing sales for almost 7 years now. I guess I got extremely lucky early on and we had a couple of big hail storms that kept us busy. I have an incredible installer that can work with any type of roof, but he is so busy, it’s gotten to where he can rarely meet me to help bid the job. As the contractor, how do you bid jobs without the experience of the installer? Full roof replacements are simple stuff, but I am talking about repairs, leaks, etc.
