NY - Has anybody ever gone in person to the Office of Professions in Albany to get their license faster?

I found out my school never sent my ed verification over to complete my application for my licensure and I’ve been sitting around for 6 weeks waiting. I start orientation for my job Monday and I need my license by tomorrow. Hoping someone can help!

Anybody else’s not cuddle? :(

Our beautiful rescue mix is such a cutie and we love her to bits. She is 6 months old and we adopted her at 3 months old. We have crate trained and she loves her crate, successfully have made it her safe place. However, it is the only place she will lay or sleep. If she’s getting tired and we haven’t directed her to the crate for a nap or bed, she has fomo and forces herself to stay awake, eventually getting cranky. We know it’s probably a puppy thing for her but we’d love advice for getting her to settle down on her own, especially outside of the crate (preferably with us). ❤️

Our 6 Month Old Rescue Girl 🩷

Her mom was at the rescue and they told us she was a cattle dog mix, which honestly her mom looked like one! As our sweet girl grows, she looks further and further from one.

Her littermate’s family sent us their DNA results, however we learned litters can have multiple fathers. Her and her littermate have different coloring and he is rather smaller than her. His ears also both sit up very straight. They look similar but I don’t know if I’d ever guess them to be the same.

She also has a gnarly underbite, likely some boxer or english bulldog in there. Her fur is longer than your typical pitbull and there’s A LOT OF IT! This is consistent with the littermate’s DNA results. She also LOVES to dig.

Curious what reddit thinks and if anybody has a little cutie like her too?

EDIT: I commented the DNA results and it’s been downvoted a million and one times??? So if you’re looking for those, probably hidden… for some reason?

Is there any way to make my dog stop doing this?

Since we adopted her, she’s been the world’s messiest drinker. At first we thought it was lack of teeth… but she now in fact has teeth….

Edit: I don’t intend on changing how my dog drinks or stopping her from drinking water 😂, looking for tips from people who have a special dog like mine as I want to save my wooden floors from
the lake that forms when she drinks water. Some of yall take this app too seriously…

What is my almost 6 month old puppy doing?

She just started doing this digging and biting of the bean bag maybe 2 weeks ago. Previously, since the day we adopted her, this beanbag was her throne and she would lay on it all day long.

I’m worried she’s uncomfortable or distressed. She has many toys and loves bully sticks, we obviously can’t give her one 7in braided bully stick daily. We love the pupsicle to help her decompress sometimes but that doesn’t last long.

If you tell her no and try to stop her, she gets very bitey, almost like she’s in pain or really has an urge to sooth her teeth.

Please help! She is the sweetest girl when she’s not trying to release whatever she’s trying to release or achieve here.

PS The beanbag isn’t a true beanbag filled with beans or other little pieces. It’s a Big Joe that’s double layered and filled with big foam pieces. She hasn’t bit through yet but I don’t foresee her having success with that anytime soon.
