Coconut oil and MCT oil STINK after a while on my skin- avoid altogether or would vitamin E help?

back when coconut oil was trendy putting it my hair smelled so bad after a couple hours. Recently I got MCT oil to make a dry body oil (Humblebee recipe). Some of the ingredients haven’t arrived yet so I tried just a small amount of straight MCT oil on my skin. it felt nice but the next morning my pajamas smelled so bad, like they were left damp for a month even though they were freshly clean and dry. It’s much worse than the coconut oil smell was.

Is this a common problem or just my body not agreeing with coconut? I haven’t ever had this problem with jojoba but I know that’s a unique oil. Will the vitamin E in my finished product help prevent this?

Normal women’s suits do not exist anywhere in our size

I’m angling for my first six figure jobs so I need a real pant/skirt suit for interviews. everything in my size is permanently out of stock, ridiculous (neon orange shorts and a tube top is not going to work), or is actually a 27” waist for a 00. Or is $800+ for the set.

Do regular, XXS, navy or grey (just boring interview safe colors) suits still exist for women below $500? I would love to stay below $250 but I fear that’s a tall order. I won’t even be wearing it day to day, just for interviews…

Foundation alone looks too flat, but I don’t want to look sun-kissed/bronzed. What do I use?

I’m not neccesarily goth but I do want to take inspiration from that aesthetic in a more everyday way. Like if Morticia tried to go more ‘clean girl’ I guess. I thought a sheer foundation would help but even a skin tint just looks odd. I do have a good color match. I have a cool toned contour but I’m not sure it’s really helping but it is a new thing I don’t have much practice with. I don’t really need to change my face shape, and I don’t want to look any darker or warmer. I’d love to look even lighter if it wouldn’t look off with my neck/body skin.

Is there a certain placement I should be using, or just a light hand? or do I need heavier makeup overall? I use ELF halo glow skin tint in shade 3 cool and Nyx pink color corrector as my concealer

[Misc] TSA may have punctured my tretinoin?

Has this happened to anyone else? I put my toiletries including tretinoin in my checked bag. when we got it back it looked like it had been gone through, which I know happens and is normal. My sunscreen (new in box) was open but not damaged.

They seem to have made a tiny little puncture in the side of my tretinoin tube, which was already open so they could have taken a sample that way if that’s the reason? Nothing in there was sharp or could have done it. Now tret is all over my makeup and other toiletries.

Has this happened to anyone else? Should I get rid of the tube (it’s still pretty full so that would suck but it’s not sealed anymore…)?

Denominationally catfished, not sure what to do next

We moved about 1.5 years ago and ended up going to the church that was closest to us, we walked most weeks. I thought it was Baptist but it just didn‘t say so in the name or anything.

Turns out it’s Church of Christ. There’s another COC church literally in view of this one so I never suspected that. Im disabled so only went to Sunday mornings, my husband went to Bible study during the week.

He was told they will not affirm any creed or really any concrete theology beyond what is minimally Christian. I.e. Jesus is the son of God, and He is necessary for salvation, but anything that gets deeper than that they just won’t address.

The pastor is just some guy that got burned out of his corporate job and “felt called”. I’m not sure I should expect every pastor to have a seminary degree but there seems to have been no training or guidance beyond his personal Bible study. When he‘s away, the guest pastor is also just his buddy who “preached” at men to actively mess up chores so their ‘bride’ will stop asking them to do it.

The youth pastor also led my husband’s small group and the few times I did attend, it always ended up as a discussion of his own sex/porn addiction. I know that’s a very common issue but it doesn’t seem to be the right setting for that

I’m not sure it’s good for us to stay at this church. But many of the other churches are either too liberal (rainbow flags and female pastors) or are just not a denomination that fits- and I’m not sure how much I should expect to agree with a denomination’s position.

For example I don’t really agree with infant baptism, but none of our children were born alive and we wont be have any more. I have no problem seeing others baptize their kids, but I wouldn‘t be comfortable being told my babies are in hell or limbo or anything of the sort just because of how they died.

My husband grew up evangelical, I was raised atheist but started going to a Mennonite church with a boyfriend in my teens but have been attending Baptist churches until I got married. I’m not trying to find the perfect church but I’m not sure at this point what to look for

Can you be prescribed non stim ADHD meds?

My spouse has been in for 10 years and got off adderall during high school in order to join. I’m not convinced you ”grow out of” ADHD. It’s been manageable but work and personal life would probably be much improved by some kind of medical help. What are the rules here?

Signature not required, my house isn’t a business, and these aren’t business days. What is going on?

This is not an expensive item and it’s not supposed to need a signature. I live in a single family house and I didn’t receive a note on my door for attempted delivery or any. Everything I order gets left on my porch no problem. it’s saying “next business day” but those are a federal holiday and a Saturday.

Am I going to get my package?

Tricare prime not covering pathologist because I didn’t have a referral for them but I did have a referral for the biopsy procedure

I have Tricare East prime so I should not pay anything as long as I get referrals for any specialists I need. I got a referral for a dermatologist to remove a suspicious mole. it was fine and they covered the dermatologist visits. I got an EOB where they are trying to say I owe 70 to the pathologist because I didn’t get a referral to them. This isn’t right is it? I had no way of knowing which pathologist was going to be used. I thought it was taken care of by having a referral to the dermatologist to do the biopsy. What can I do now? Do I have to talk to with Tricare or the pathologist office?
