Growing up I was put through a lot. My own little hell on earth. The way I coped is by telling myself it'll pass. No matter how long it goes it'll be okay. It'll pass. It won't be bad forever.
I'm now an adult and I live with my boyfriend who is also depressed, traumatized, and went through his own hell..
He's currently struggling with alot right now and so I try to comfort him by telling him what I told myself
He told me that I'm toxic with my positivity. He told me that he doesn't wanna hear it gets better because it doesn't, that it never does and life just sucks sometimes.
I told him what does he want me to say and he just basically said the above
But I don't believe that. I don't believe it will be bad forever for him.
I can't say something I don't believe, but at the same time I'm making him feel unheard. I don't want that for him. I want to be a good partner.
I can't tell him that he's right life sucks we should just die rn, that seems like what he wants to hear but I literally can't tell him that

So she was angry and grabbed our dog. The dog was being kind of naughty and she didn't even hurt our dog. She loves our dog and never actually does this. Before now she only did this twice in our 3 years of having the dog. Now she's spiraling saying she's abusive, she wants to get rid of the dog because she's "not safe" here, she'll never get through this, and saying other stuff like how she doesn't deserve anything . I'm worried and I've literally reached out to a therapist who tried talking her through this and it didn't help. She's lashing out and I don't know what to do.
