1440p vs 4K

Hey everyone,
I’m interested in upgrading my gaming setup a bit; I play on Xbox Series X and for the past several years I’ve used a 32 inch 1080p TV and want to upgrade to a monitor since I play at a desk, probably 27 or 32 inches, and I want to get an OLED monitor but am wondering about how big of a difference there is between 1440p and 4K. My friend who plays on PC says that 4K is rarely worth it over 1440p, but I thought I’d ask around here to get some advice.

Andrea’s fate

I’ve been rewatching the show and I kind of feel like Andrea should have either survived until the end of the show or died at the CDC. I know she played a small role in helping Rick’s group against the Governor, but I feel like her death was a little bit stupid. She definitely had what it took to survive to the end, which would’ve been the better ending for her. The alternative would be to have her stay at the CDC and die in the explosion after losing Amy. I always disliked Dale’s decision to drag her out of there back into the horrors of the apocalypse rather than just letting her make her own decision. To have her overcome all of that just to get bitten by fucking Milton was lame.

2 phone numbers in one contact on iPhone

So I got a text from someone earlier today, but it was showing up like it was coming from a different person’s contact. I guess I’ll just call them Person A and Person B to avoid confusion. I looked and it turned out I had the phone number of Person A (who I got the text from) listed in the contact of Person B, along with Person B’s phone number. I deleted Person A’s number from Person B’s contact, and created a new separate contact for Person A, but now when I try to text them their name shows up as Person B’s name. Even thought I made a separate contact. I don’t know how to fix it or how this even happened in the first place.

Cat pooped in house

Hey everyone,
I have 2 cats, one 6 year old male and a 1 year old female. We have a downstairs office/computer room that we rarely go into, but today I went down there to look for something and noticed the smell of cat poop. I looked around and sure enough found cat turds in 2 different places in the room. I was shocked as both of our cats are good about using the litter box. I don’t know for sure who did this but I have a feeling it was our older male cat.

We brought home a puppy a couple of months ago and recently he’s been a little temperamental with the puppy (he doesn’t hurt or antagonize him, he just hisses or whines if the puppy gets too close). I’m not sure if maybe he feels threatened or territorial with the new puppy and that’s why he went to the bathroom outside of the litter box. we do have a puppy gate in front of the entrance to the laundry room, where the litter box is, but we have done a good job of making sure to leave the small cat door open so they have access to the box. I’m just wondering what could’ve caused this and how to prevent it from happening again?

My friend doesn’t know what he’s missing

I picked this game up off of game pass in March after never having heard of it before. I like survival crafting games and so does one of my friends who I game with, so I told him to get it since he has game pass as well. We played a decent amount and he enjoyed it, and we made it to the lab sector before we both kind of got busy with our lives and didn’t have as much time to game. I recently came back to the game and have absolutely loved it.

I just finished it the other day and told my friend he should start his own world so we can play it together because I’d gladly play it again, and I think he would really enjoy the story, but he’s being very hesitant to do it. Mainly because he was really excited for Subnautica 2, but he has already beaten the game so I suggested he start abiotic factor now but he’s just like “eh maybe”. He has a habit of playing and enjoying a new game for a short period of time and then moving on to something else without finishing it. I think he’s missing out, and it would be super fun to play through all the sectors with a friend and I could guide him along if he needs help too, but trying to get him to play is like pulling teeth. I guess this is just a rant more than anything, but this game is easily the best survival crafter I’ve ever played and I wish more people knew about it.

Should I move bases

I’ve been getting really into this game after taking a break from it, and I just progressed to the power services area of the reactor level. The power services building looks like the perfect place to set up a big base, but I already have a really nice base going in the security office in the labs sector . I’m playing solo and so far it has been the perfect sized base for me. However, I’m wondering if I’ll start running out of room as I progress further and discover more items. Moving into power services sounds tempting but I’ve grown to really enjoy the base I’ve set up in security. Would it be worth moving or is the security office fine for late game? If I do move, what would be the best way to do it? Last time, when I moved from cafeteria to security I just used personal teleporters to haul everything to the new area.

I’m on my second playthrough of this game and originally wanted to do a no crime run (no stealing or killing civilians). The no stealing part went out of the window almost immediately because there are times in the story and certain side quests where you are required to steal, and I needed money.

I decided to stick to the no civilians killed rule, however, even having to reload a couple of times because I unknowingly killed enemies labeled as civilians. I did fine in the first half of the game but I just recently finished the guild investigation storyline for the legacy of the forge DLC in Kuttenberg, and in the last mission I killed 4 Hradetz soldiers at the abandoned mine who attacked me first. It’s been several hours since then and I just realized that those 4 counted as civilians.

Why do enemy combatants with weapons who initiate combat with me count as civilians when killed? I don’t care if they’re technically civilians since they’re just soldiers, they literally drew their weapons on me immediately and tried to attack me. I feel like people who are hostile and attack you in this game shouldn’t be labeled as civilians; it’s a little stupid. Anyway, I’m probably just gonna give up on that now because I don’t want to redo hours of gameplay.
