My qualifications: 12th grade student giving Cambridge international A levels currently.

Ive been planning to either go to Ashoka or SNU for cs for the longest time until recently i got to know that the creator of fears to fathom, which is probably the most popular indie game made by an indian studied in DTU as well. Apparently DTU is also quite good at funding startups which can be useful.

However my goal of creating an indie dev team would also mean I'll have to hunt for like minded people who would also be interested in joining me, and I've been told it would be more likely for me to find people like this in a private uni like ashoka and SNU, since government unis are famous for being very academically focused.

i would appreciate some advice from people who are more knowledgeable on this subject

1. What is the gender ratio like in computer science specifically?

I like that the overall gender ratio in ashoka is pretty good but I couldn't find an answer for the gender ratio for cs specifically since it's a very male dominated field. I've heard horror stories from women in stem that they've been in cs classes with only 1-2 other women where the guys have been very condescending and undermining their skills. Since Haryana already has a reputation for sexism i wanna know if that's the case in ashoka as well or not.

2. Are there rooms with attached washrooms? I really don't mind paying extra to secure one it's just that i really don't wanna use a communal one 🥹✌️

3. How common are the nerdy people? I rlly wanna be in an environment where i share interests with ppl so how common are the ppl who enjoy gaming (story games like GoW, ghost of Tsushima, Tlou, and indie games like hollow knight and Celeste) Manga (like Monster or berserk or punpun) and anime like (Evangelion, lain, etc)?

4. Are the halls gendered or gender neutral?

Im doing cambridge a-levels with the subjects physics maths eng and art. My plan was to study abroad for the longest time but my mom just said no last moment when I'm already in 12th. I researched for options in india but people are clowning on all those colleges online (ashoka, shiv nadar, etc etc). There seems to be a dislike for private colleges in general.

I can't get into a government college cause no chem + I don't have cbse so that puts me behind others giving jee (since cbse and jee are complimentary) + I'm just too used to a calculator atp.

Is there any good college I can get into? My main goals in college is to build a good profile for mtech abroad, expand my skills, and to find a good team to start my own indie game dev company.

Or am i cooked? If there are really no options then maybe i should start begging my mom to let me do btech abroad, i still have a good 6 months before college apps start to convince her.

I've always felt like no-one has ever been excited about my presence, only neutral or disliked it. It's like no-one knows anything about me, that I'm not anyone's anything.

I don't think it's because I do anything wrong, it's just that being unwanted is a loop that has been present pretty much since I was born.

You know how in LoA you basically repeat the same patterns that you were born into (ie, if you were born into a financially struggling family, it's likely that you would be stuck in that mindset in the future hence manifest it for the rest of your life unless you change your thought patterns), it's like that for me.

I'd love some subs that are gonna change these beliefs I have about having an unlikeable presence from the absolute core. I've used subs like absolute suggestibility or Concordia boosters since they're considered the goats of changing rigid beliefs but honestly they've not worked that well.

I'll also appreciate some advice on how I can attempt to not give these negative thoughts any attention. I know I'm not supposed to focus on them but sometimes the loneliness gets too unbearable yk? And it's hard to find distractions when everyone around you is having fun with their friends and you're just there.

Some other subs I've tried are iwiigi's pretty privilege and some guoba subs. These creators are amazing and work well for me usually but this specific topic is kind of a hard subject.

Their full typo is intp sp5w4 538 either LFEV or LVEF. As you can see it's pretty much the archetypal "nonchalant" typology but I still wanna make this person a friend because they're one of the only cool ppl in my grade and we have so many common interests and life experiences.

I really don't wanna make them uncomfortable in the process though since sp5's require a lot of space. I know this person wants friends cause during our previous convos they've mentioned they have barely any friends and think it's embarrassing, but holy shit they're so hard to talk to at times.
