Is it possible to fade in an effect on a track?

I have a wav sample that I'd like a bitcrusher effect to slowly fade onto. I know that there's a fade in/out function via automation, but I can't figure out how to get it to only affect the effect I have on the track, not the wav sample itself or the whole track

Sorry if this is obvious and I'm just clueless

[Routine Help] Arms + face covered in permanent bumps; can't afford a derm and I'm running out of options

I'm 35/f, these bumps on my face/arms/hands (hands not pictured) have been popping up since I turned 30 and have steadily gotten worse. The texture is way worse in person.

I know the pores/blackheads are bad too, they've also gotten so much worse over the last few years. But the bumps are so much worse in person.

Some sources online that I've found say it's sebaceous hyperplasia, others say it's KP, some even said that it's warts (???) but I honestly don't know anymore.

They come but do not go away. Some of the bumps are years old at this point, and more and more pop up constantly.

I have very oily, acne-prone sensitive skin that is prone to dehydration.

Many of the bumps on my face have dimples in the middle. The bumps on my arms don't, but they have a weird, shiny cap-like texture. The bumps on both my face and arms are hard and not soft/full of liquid.

I've tried the following, each for between 3-6 months with no results:

  • double cleansing (stopped because oil cleansers break me out)
  • salicylic acid cleanser
  • Tretinoin
  • niacinamide
  • both mineral and chemical sunscreens
  • Alternative forms of retinol/retin-a
  • ordinary glycolic acid on arms
  • AmLactin on arms
  • silicone-free skincare
  • fresh clean pillowcase daily
  • physical exfoliation on arms / First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser
  • cutting out dairy
  • eating mostly whole foods
  • losing weight (still in process)

My current routine:

AM

  • Vanicream cleanser
  • Vanicream daily moisturizer
  • HERO Force Shield SPF 30

PM

  • Vanicream cleanser 2x
  • Differin (3 days a week)
  • Physical exfoliation with cleanser+clean washcloth (3 days a week)
  • Vanicream daily moisturizer

I exfoliate my arms and use cocoa butter + Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 70 on them.

If I could afford to see a derm, I would in a heartbeat, but it's just not possible at the moment. And even if I could afford it, waiting lists where I live are upwards of 6 months to a year. Financially I'm in a bad place and my skin issues are just making me feel worse, honestly. It's got me in a really bad place mentally and I want to give up.

I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Has anyone gotten Splice Instrument to work with downgraded Wine+yabridge?

I'm working on Ubuntu Studio and at a loss. I've managed to get a healthy build of yabridge going with Wine downgraded to 9.21, all of my other Windows plugins are working fine. I can't get Splice Instrument to work; the UI is just a black screen and any attempts to mess with it crashes Reaper. It also does the same thing as a standalone plugin.

[Product Request] Does a silicone-free tinted sunscreen exist that isn't $50+ for an ounce or two of product?

Pulling my hair out over this. I need a tinted sunscreen badly, but I have a derm-diagnosed issue with silicones, so I have to avoid them. Every recommendation I've seen for a silicone-free tinted sunscreen is easily $50+ USD for a very small amount of product. Is there something out there I'm missing? I'd appreciate any recommendations!!

[Product Request] Is there a silicone-free moisturizer for very oily skin out there that isn't TOO drying?

I feel like I'm asking for the world here. Whenever I use a product that is formulated for oily skin or advertised heavily toward people with oily skin, it absolutely dries me out and dehydrates my skin.

But if I use a product that is not explicitly formulated for oily skin, I break out, and my skin is infinitely more greasy.

I'm not sure what to do. The last moisturizer I tried that I really liked was Neutrogena's hydroboost moisturizer. It was amazing for my skin. However, sadly, per my derm, the texture and sebaceous hyperplasia I've been suffering from over the last few years is likely due to my skin's intolerance for silicones. So, I need to switch.

The first new moisturizer I tried was Good Molecule's gel moisturizer, and it left me dry as a desert with three (count em, three!!) layers of it.

I would appreciate literally any recommendations for a silicone-free moisturizer that won't dry me out or oil me up. Idk why it's so hard for me to find something suitable for my skin.

Constant ingrown public hairs even though I don't shave

*pubic, sorry lol

Has anyone dealt with this? I used to shave (using a trimmer + waxing) for ages and then decided to go all natural. Haven't touched my bush in 6-8 months. I still constantly get ingrown hairs on my pubic mound! One was so bad that I almost had to take a trip to my GP before it resolved with neosporin. What could I be doing wrong here? I'm using Dr. Bronners soap in the shower, but outside of that, I can't think of what could be causing irritation when I'm not messing with it at all.

Getting non-photo files to automatically sync to Proton Drive on Android

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I use an offline calendar/tasks app on Android. It is set to automatic backups, and will sync my events/tasks files to a folder on my Android device semi-regularly.

Is there a way to get Proton Drive to recognize that folder and automatically sync it to my Proton Drive account whenever the calendar/task app saves a new file? I know this works for photos automatically, but what about non-photo files?

Thanks for any insight.

[Product Request] Recommendations for silicone-free cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen for oily skin?

I am struggling majorly with sebaceous hyperplasia. It started like six years ago and has steadily been getting worse. I tried tretinoin, accutane, differin, salicylic acid, niacinamide, oily skin products, low-tox skincare, everything in between. Seeing a derm to have them burned off would be $1k minimum for my whole face where I live, and they'd just come back anyway.

I'm at the end of my rope and feel hideous. The texture is awful, and some of them are so noticeable.

I did some research and heard that a lot of people with SH had a lot of success with silicone-free skincare. But I'm having trouble finding any products without silicone. I'd appreciate any help.

I have extremely oily, sensitive skin.
