Need help with NEET UG counselling

[I am posting this question on the behalf of u/The_Sheepherder2396 as they are unable post due to karma limits.]

Hi! I have secured a rank of 8.4k this year and have MH domicile. Was wondering how I should rank these colleges in my preference list. I would really appreciate the help.

  1. Grant Medical College (JJ Hospital), Mumbai
  2. BJ Medical College (BJMC), Pune
  3. TNMC (Nair), Mumbai
  4. HBT Medical College & Cooper Hospital, Mumbai
  5. GMC and GT Hospital, Mumbai
  6. GMC, Nagpur
  7. Rajiv Gandhi GMC, Thane
  8. GMC, Ch. Sambhajinagar

If possible, could you also answer these doubts -

- How are the academics there?
- Is hostel available from 1st year? If yes how is the facility, is there a mess etc?
- Is there good patient inflow/clinical exposure? Are seniors helpful? Is there any ragging?
- Co-curriculars, fests, clubs, etc there?
- How is environment & alumni network for USMLE/NEET PG?
- Based on most people I've talked to, most colleges I can get into are pretty similar academics wise. Should living conditions/proximity to home be my primary criteria?

Thanks in advance!
