Main lobster meat - is Langostino a reasonable substitute?

Recently returned from vacation in Portsmouth, NH. Gorged on lobster products. I would love to add lobster rolls and lobster stew/bisque to my rotation. They were exceptionally good and looked easy to make.

Unfortunately, can't get maine lobster meat around here fresh / non-frozen. Can get tails frozen but pricey whrn you are going to be making soups and stews. Places there don't ship in summer (actually smart) that I can tell. There are other "lobster" meat substitute products sold frozen locally. Since I would like to cook this regularly, and I haven't found gold in my garden, I am considering one of the substitutes.

The "internet" recommends Langostino meat and it is available at my usual grocery store. Do you find the frozen langostino meat a reasonable substitute for Maine lobster meat when the latter isn't locally available, at least for an affordable price?

Crushed Peony Roots

Last winter we had some trees removed (insurance requirements), and that required very heavy equipment. They spent 4 days driving over the front yard and our flower beds. I had one extremely healthy peony that after three decades had grown to over a meter wide. Thankfully, this spring, almost all of my landscaping came back. The half of the peony plant that had been repeatedly run over lived. However, as you can see it is only half the height of the uncrushed right half. In the past, this area would have had 50++ large blooms but it got none in this recovery year. I hope it's more back to normal next year.

Buffalo Beans

As a kid, I remember a plant, with yellow flowers (?), that we called Buffallo Beans. But my 60 year old memories of the details are faint. Is there such a plant?

Thanks everyone for the confirmation!

Back in the 70s in British Columbia, we had something fast growing, hollow, and segmented in back lanes, etc. We called bamboo but it looked very much like Japanese Knotweed. Anyone else with similar memories? Could they be the same plant?
