Today I had a family who insisted on having the women and kids at one table while the guys were at a different table. Weirdest shit I’ve ever seen.

Average age of the people that come to the place I work at is like over 50 and these mfs just don’t give a fuck. Here’s what’s happened just this month

Everyday someone will fill their water bottle or something at the server station. I’m not joking it happens at least once a day.

Someone walked into the kitchen to ask a server for more ranch

I walked into the bathroom to see a old guy at the urinal with his pants and under where down to his ankles. Just full man ass as soon as I walked in.

A guy lit a cigarette in the middle of the dining room and actually became argumentative when we said he can’t do that.

Calm the fuck down ur stressing me out lol

Ive never in my 23 years of swimming in the ocean been very concerned about wildlife but yesterday a spinner shark jumped maybe 5 yards away from me and absolutely scared the SHIT out of me. I’ve seen plenty of sharks while in the ocean but never had one jump near me like that.

The people I work with are fucking losers. I work at a casual dining place as a summer job and I’ve never worked with people who give less of a fuck. Showing up late every single day, just ignore side work, showing up stoned/drunk everyday. Like we have 4 servers on today and I’m the only one that actually showed up. It’s damn near impossible to get fired from this place unless the GM just doesn’t like you. He’s fired people for just talking back but will keep complete idiots on.

I don’t really care if you suck at your job, but sucking at your job and just deciding not to show up is the craziest thing ever. Also these people are the kings and queens of victim mentality. Nothing is ever their faults. Thank god this is just a summer gig because if not I would have been way out of here.

Been surfing Horry county for a few years as I go to college here. This is one of the least surf stoked beach towns I’ve ever lived in! I mean I like having empty waves as much as the next guy but I want to share the stoke every now and then! Do yall just wait till we get a good swell (like twice a year) to come out or do yall just make the drive to Wilmington or Charleston?

Honestly there are some hidden gems with decent breaks here! (Emphasis on decent, not good or perfect)

I’ve been here for a few years and haven’t found many people who actually surf. I’ve met a ton of kooks that love buying boards but I won’t see them at the piers or jetties lol.

I’ll be moving back to my home town of Charleston soon. Which has way better breaks and stoke, but I’m sad I didn’t really meet many surfer friends here like I thought I would :(. Still partied my ass off at coastal Carolina tho !
