Recently ko lang gawa tong painting, and although may nare-reach naman siyang audience wala talaga akong mahanap na interested enough to buy.

Although syempre di naman necessary na bumili ng paintings, but I just hate how our generation just completely ignore artworks now. Atleast dati may mga kabayo pa na reproduction, or yung mga isda na laging tatluhan.

I hope this gen appreciate handmade paintings as much as digital ones.

This painting is a tribute to my grandma whose main source of money before was washing other people's clothes. With their bare hands, a bar of soap and a wooden board even though it was falling apart, they continued just to have food to bring back to their waiting family.

↪️I also wanted to incorporate underrated local jobs here in the Philippines, and I was inspired by my grandma's former source of income. To all laundry workers out there, salute po🫡

Often a phrase that Filipino workers say whenever the sun is setting and their job is already closed to it's end. Inspired to beautiful views of the Philippines that we all see whenever we say the word "Uwian, uwi, makauwi."
