Summertime = NATO time
Switching from original bracelet to Omega NATO.

How would you approach this
How would you layer this effect.
My first thought would be to use a Sweep in the middle with a glowing material.
Outside some xParticles.
The swirly lines, probably also with xparticles and some twist Modifier.
But the glowy foggy lines.... Simulated VDBs`?
Maybe I am missing something, but blurred shapes / geometry, isnt possible in Octane, right?

Deciding on the best “do it all” motorcycle
I would like to hear your thoughts.
I am searching for the perfect allrounder.
I know there isn’t such a thing but there are some close.
The most important things that I need to:
- Sporty looks. (no GS, multistrada etc.)
- Power
- Comfort.
- Sound
I did 50.000 km touring on my GSX-R a couple of years ago. But my back won’t make it anymore. So comfortable for me just means, no superbike.
I tested the 1000SX from Kawasaki. It is almost the perfect allrounder. Just the looks and sound aren’t great.
I am tempted to go with a S1000R.
Tested it for 1500km and quite liked it. Just the looks weren’t great. (2024 version)
Last weekend I tested the M1000R for 1500km.
Just a bit too harsh and too much power that one can’t really use.
So now I am tempted to get the normal S1000R.
For longer rides I would mount a push touring windscreen and I would be set for longer highways.
Any thoughts or other suggestions?
