he’s a stubborn 18 year old boy who doesn’t really care about college. he’s going willingly but he doesn’t adapt to change well. he’s has orientation later this month, which i’m hoping will get him excited.

he hasn’t done his placement tests or anything yet and our mom isn’t thrilled about that lol.

he’s living in a triple in fox which might be good for him due to easy access to the dining hall, the amount of people living in that building and easy access to the rec center (he loves basketball).

any tips or suggestions would help! maybe some things to do on / around campus would be nice too

i was on housing portal and saw a concordia triple which i wasn’t aware existed. has this always been there or are they forcing triples?

hi! i, 20f want to begin styling myself more alternatively (yes ofc i listen to the music have the values that align, let’s get that out of the way). i used to dress more alternatively when i was 13-15 but i don’t really anymore!

i think a hard part of it for me is that gold looks better on me than silver lol so i feel like that can be discredited. and i usually have blonde braids because they compliment me and my skin tone! i’m not sure really how to accompany these with alternative fashion :p

i’m getting my septum pierced in a few weeks and i think that could help me mentally figure it out a little more but if ANYONE has advice or pictures please let me know!!! thank you so much

i have an 09 honda accord v6. i have a few lights on but i got them scanned and it doesn’t rlly seem to direct me to the issue. my car will hesitate especially when i make left turns and accelerate, but sometimes when im normally accelerating. it doesn’t get up to speed nearly as fast as it was doing a week or so ago.

hi! i’m here on behalf of my mom lol. she opened up to me about how she wishes to dress better at work and wants to “stop feeling like a paper bag”. she isn’t super confident in how she looks and we’re starting with more self care and positive thinking of course (along with more frequent hair appointments and taking care of her skin) but she’s not really sure on how to dress.

how do i 20f tell my family that i have a boyfriend 20m.

we come from different backgrounds so he can easily talk to his parents about these things. in fact, he grew up talking to his parents about these things (if viewers are curious he’s white and brazilian). i, on the other hand, have not really talked about relationships with my family. i know they were always against dating early, but other than that, i haven’t really talked to them about it anything. (again if you’re curious, i live with my mom’s family, they are all carribean and my dad is african american) super early into dating he wanted me to tell my family about him, similar to how he had me come by and abruptly meet his family.

i don’t live with my dad but he seems kinda chill about dating. my step sister has had boyfriends for awhile and he’s never complained about her having them, just their characters lol. she’s only a year older than me too. i just don’t live with him and im his first kid, so im not sure.

on the flip side, my mom has 2 siblings and my mom is the only one who has kids and has been married (twice if you are confused). my uncle had a girlfriend for about a year and never introduced her to anybody.

i really want them to meet and love my boyfriend especially since we’ve been together for about a year now and i feel like things are promising so i feel like it’s about time, but at the same time, on my 20th birthday a month ago, my family said they will always see my as a 12 year old. he’s met my mom and spoken to her several times and i’ve always framed it as a guy who liked me (which he was aware of especially when it was early on) he asked for permission to date me from my mom and she said as long as i say yes, and she thinks he’s adorable! it’s just hard especially when my family has said they will always see me as 12 lol. my brother 18m has always said he will not let the family know he’s dating someone.

hi! im so stressed because im placed in a roommate group with 3 of my friends and we are wanting to switch dorms to fit us + 1 of our other friends. the thing is the one we r in a dorm so far from things and its not great. we have the opportunity to apply for roomswap over the summer, but im so worried bc the dorm we wanted is full

i wanna manifest moving to the dorm we want, with space for all 5 of us total.

how can i manifest us moving to this dorm in july? i wanna start now because im just so stressed.

hi! so my roommate group didn’t fully go as smoothly as we wanted so we didn’t get to pick donahue. we had to pick any dorm so we just picked sheehy (don was full) but a lot of us realized that it won’t be doable for us.

we r wanting to live on east, so is there any way (probability) the 5 of us would be able to find dorming in donahue or Usuites?
