Sarah Ashlee playing for Team USA?

If she keeps playing like this, they need to start inviting her to Team USA camps. If Rae Burrell and Mo Billings can get invites (no knock on them), then SA definitely needs to be there too. I hope Sue Bird doesnt overlook her

Dev spots

Its not like the Aces need to fill the 2 spots and need backup players at the moment but I’m sure they are keeping them open for if/when they really need to sign someone later in the season. Or do you think Nikki is doing some overseas scouting and trying to find some gems? Who would be some good signings for the 2 spots? I would think someone like Anneli Mailey would be a good pick up for them, if she is still available and clears waivers

Kaitlyn Chen = 2026 Most Improved Player ?

I’m calling it now. Would she be eligible? Does it matter if she played very limited minutes last season? That would be back-to-back MIPs from Golden State. I’d love to see it

Injury status - Sug and Karlie

What’s the injury status of Sug and Karlie?? Is it looking long-term for them both? Will they have to sit out a couple weeks before actually playing?

Reunite Aaliyah Nye with Sarah Ashlee and Megan G

After Nye clears waivers, Portland should sign her to the 2nd development spot and reunite her with S.A. and Meg. Would be fun to see!

Idk his personality too well but now with all these new additions who have strong voices and big personalities in Skylar, Rickea, Kamilla, Sloot, Dijonai and now Cloud, do yall think Tyler can command this team and control the locker room? I can see it easily going haywire if he can’t take charge. As talented as they are, that’s a lot of outspoken fiesty, spicy, attitudey girls lol.

Who do yall think makes the final 12 spots and the 2 developmental spots? Who gets picked up on waivers (the Fire are #2 on the pecking order right?). Where can the roster improve, i.e. how’s the 3pt shooting, rebounding, defense, etc. ?? Will Leite or Sutton be the starting PG?

Do we know when it will open? I also cant find any progress photos or actual photos of the facility, other than the renderings. Has anyone passed by the actual location and seen what it looks like so far? Also, with the Blazers season now over, can the team use their facility in the meantime?

After watching that first preseason home game on TV…the court is awful you guys, no matter how many times I tried to adjust the color settings on my screen, it was an eyesore. Is it the lighting in CCC that makes the court look that way or is the court design just really that bad? Also, seeing on all the socials photos and videos of the merch, logos, their locker room, the coaching staff uniform, is it just me or does it seem like there’s like 50 shades of burgundy, bordeaux, maroon, wine, etc. like different hex codes were used for all the things lol. The logo I probably could get used to maybe, but even that could have had more thought into it. I know the Tempo wanted to be different and use unique colors but after seeing the Valkyries colors and their court and then now the Portland Fire’s colors and their court… they went the fresh, modern, and vibrant route which appeals more to fans in my opinion. The visual aspect of the game really matters. I mean the borealis blue alone and silver could have been great, maybe add black too. I think the bordeaux (although beautiful and unique) is just a tough color sports wise. It reminds me of the Cleveland Cavaliers colors which is ehh to me as well. Lmk if I’m trippin yall……
