Random question, do you ever need to wipe a patient while they are sitting on the toilet?

Or if they are unable to clean themselves would they just wear a pad? Would you use something like a Sarah steady to stand them up from the toilet and then clean? Seems like it would be messy. Sorry if this is a dumb/weird question 😅 I am a student and I haven’t experienced this on placement yet, only changing and cleaning patients who are lying in bed, but I was just thinking and want to be prepared

Youth allowance - housemate shared bills account

My housemate and I have a shared bills account that we both contribute to weekly, both of our names are on the account. We decided to do it that way because it was convenient to just take the money out rather than asking each other to transfer all the time. I did not think about it before we opened it but it could cause Centrelink to believe we are in a relationship, so my Centrelink could be cut because he earns a lot more than me. I didn’t update my address when we moved for quite a while because it was not letting me do it online, saying that I need to talk to a service officer to change it, but every time I called I was hung up on. Eventually it just slipped my mind. This week I put in a complaint about it and they finally called me, it had been a few months since I had moved, and the lady seemed kind of pissed that I hadn’t updated it and said that they will manually have to go through everything. I was paying the same amount of rent as before so I don’t think I was receiving any more than I was supposed to.
So now I’m worried they will investigate it more, see the joint account and believe my housemate and I are in a relationship due to the shared bank account if they come across it. We are also of similar age and I’ve seen that that also raises suspicions, I have been googling a lot so idk if I’m being irrational, but is this something that could cut my Centrelink payment or cause me issues with them or legally?

* the account earned a very tiny amount of interest so it came up on my tax return, like $2 or something like that. I have closed it now.

How long does your 45kg gas bottle last?

We just moved into a house with gas and we paid for a 45kg gas bottle. It heats the hot water for showers, sinks, washing machine etc. We also have a gas oven and stove. There are two of us and we usually only spend around 15 minutes a day collectively in the shower, maybe 20 occasionally. It only lasted us a month, is that normal? Thought it would last longer

Any recommendations on where to get supplies in Australia?

Mostly asking for glass and lamp bases. So far I have bought all my supplies and glass from Perth art glass, but I want to buy a lamp base and I don’t like any that they are selling. I would like to find one with the same kind of style as the pictures in this post. I’ve seen some on Amazon, but there are no reviews from Australia, has anyone bought one from Amazon?
I would like to find glass that is a bit cheaper too, if it exists.
