The search is finally over!

I’ve been shopping around for my next big purchase for over a year with several top choices from many big brands and came very close to pulling the trigger on some of them.. until I saw this gorgeous new Longines release! It’s everything I was looking for in one package. Goes to show that patience is a virtue when watch collecting, and now I can finally relax 😆.

The dial is the kind you have to see in person to believe. I’m lucky to have a Longines boutique near me and they had it in stock. If you have the chance to try it on in person you should for sure.

1972 Longines Conquest 1577

A few weeks ago my mind was set on buying vintage Omega daily wearer but after days of searching this Longines totally won me over and ticked all my boxes. It came with the original bracelet (currently off for a small repair job) and a French day wheel which was too good of a package to pass up. Super handsome watch!

Hello! I've been cleaning up old drives so I gathered some old and new work from a wide variety of projects spanning about a decade. Hope you like it!

I inherited a few vintage watches from my late grandfather but I’m particularly fond of his 1962 Hamilton 992B that he used for many years as a train conductor. This thing still runs at around -1.5s a day and it hasn’t been serviced for at least 25 years if I had to guess. Absolute workhorse of a watch.

I like to wind it at least once a year on his birthday to remember him!

I’m partly posting this for the subreddit giveaway so my favorite place I’ve ever travelled to was Stockholm! I grew up in Canada so I felt right at home in the middle of the Swedish winter.
