There are 2 different style medieval spiked ball chain flails. One hollow steel ball. The other a wooden ball with embedded spikes.
Through can and green swamp water. Filmed on a Chronos at over 1000fps.
Our Triple crossbow is made up currently of 2 100lbs bows at the front and a 90lbs bow. It Kicks one heck of a punch
We were testing out the sharpness for the Petersen Sword we make. We filmed this at 1500fps and tested it out on some old filled milk jugs with a little food colouring get a beautiful nuclear swamp green.

Very pleased with the accuracy and sharpness shown in the first hit but there's something really satisfying about the thrust.

Battle axes otherwise know as double headed axes are common place in fiction. However, were they any good for war?
Following a visit to the Mary Rose Museum and getting up close looking around King Henry The VIII’s Flagship vessel we get to converse and learn with Head of department and original dive archaeologist who helped find an excavate the Mary Rose, Dr Alex Hildred.
We then discuss the fire darts which they believe were found on the ship. Tod then remakes them in order to test their effectiveness and how they may have been used.
The Ship sank in 1545 during the battle of the Solent. It was recovered in 1982 and has been critical in its well preserved evidence into the technology and life of those in the 16th century.
On the ship they also discovered the remnants of what we believe were fire darts which would have been used to set enemy vessels alight.
Were they used by throwing from the tops or launched from a miss shaped cannon they were found near? Tod and Alex test these in this video.
As well as dropping onto boarding netting, using in an enclosed space to see how it would have affected the shipmates on board as they tried to carry out their duties.
