I’d like to kitbash some customs of the main characters from the Highlander TV series, pictured. Marvel Legends has lots of suitable bodies for them, but I’d appreciate any ideas for the heads across Legends, Black Series, Classified etc. I’m fine with repainting but I don’t have any ability for resculpting hair.
As a kid I was interested in Heroquest but couldn’t afford it.
As an adult, I’ve been tempted to get into it. Looking at Amazon, these seem like they’re both the base game, but the box design is slightly different and the prices are different. They’re both sold by Amazon, not third parties. Is one a slightly older version or for a different market, are the contents exactly the same?
Does it = their groove on?
I have an older Blu-ray player that also plays DVD'S and some of the Disc's Skip the Play movie menu and go right into the movie. Other Disc's show the movie menu. What is going on?
I’ve just finished building Wolverine. My second ever Blokees build after doing Action Edition Optimus Prime yesterday. Both very fun builds.
With Wolverine, I have a problem. I assumed the joint piece that connects the arm to the hand would always stay in the arm. For me however, it hasn’t worked that way, which makes the hands non-interchangeable. The joint stays in the open hand pieces when they’re taken off, but stays in the arm when the fists are taken off.
So as I got three of the joint pieces, I’ve now got one in Wolverine’s right wrist socket, and one in each of the open hands. So I’m stuck using only the fist on the right and only the open hand on the left. Am I going to have to use a hair dryer and pliers any time I want to swap the hands? Did anyone else have this problem?
When I first saw the reveal of the Brick Shop sets I was really disappointed. I loved the Mega Construx minifigures and I was hoping they’d continue. I had kind of decided not to bother with these, but I had a great time seeing the movie and I’ve recently been impressed by Blokees figures, which has got me back into construction kit toys. I saw that a couple of the sets were in stock now on Amazon so I took the plunge. This one just arrived, Snake Mountain will be arriving over the weekend.
The plastic insert with the nanoworld figurines was upside down, for some reason. Which hasn’t given me a great deal of hope for the quality control in packing these things, so I am worried there will be parts missing (although I still haven’t built any of the Mega sets - for all I know, I could be missing parts in those too). I opened it up to turn it back up right. The figurines are indeed trash compared to Mega’s. I’m planning on building this one this weekend.
