How to get support for a misleading 600 Robux bundle? (forsaken game)

Using this as a teaching moment for my 10-year-old son about personal responsibility and delayed gratification. He’s been a diligent saver, earning Robux through chores. When he finally decided to splurge on an in-game outfit with our encouragement (we secretly planned to bonus him a bit so he wouldn't feel gutted), things went sideways.

Minutes later, he was in tears, feeling scammed. After investigating, my wife and I agree he was heavily misled.

He plays a game called Forsaken and bought a bundle from the "Forsaken Outfits Catalog." The problem? The bundle included multiple items for body parts with only a single slot (like shoulders and back), but the shop display showed all items equipped simultaneously. While some body parts (like the head) allow multiple items, these didn't, making it completely reasonable for a kid to assume they’d all work together.

Adding to the confusion: the shop display sells the bundle as a single item, yet his Roblox transaction history split it into separate individual purchases with distinct prices. It totaled over 600 Robux (~$8).

While the exact amount isn't massive, this is a parenting lesson on how to handle consumer grievances and seek recourse when wronged by a seller. I tried submitting a ticket via Roblox’s restrictive web form, but it’s tough to convey the full context—like attaching visual proof of the conflicting avatar rendering—without a direct email or phone option.

Has anyone dealt with a similar issue with Roblox? What’s the best way to get actual customer service attention to resolve this?

PCH Scambait

So a few minutes ago, my wife received a strange video call on Google from individuals claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House (PCH) and stating we had won a ridiculous sum of money ($5 million). They provided a "reference number" and said someone will contact her tomorrow to set up an in-person delivery of the prize at our house. When she asked why they had to wait until tomorrow, they claimed they needed 24 hours to "set things up."

She mentioned she has been signing up with Publishers Clearing House for years, but neither of us is gullible—we are 99.9% sure it’s a scam.

Here’s the thing, though: we can’t figure out what the angle is. Any research I’ve looked up about Publishers Clearing House scams usually mentions them asking for an upfront fee or taxes right away. However, they didn't ask for any money yet, and they even asked permission to record the session while "awarding" her the prize.

My guess is they’ll wait until tomorrow to spring the fee or tax payment on her, but aside from that, I can’t figure out what the play is.

***update***
so they just called back a few minutes ago instructing her to get a card/green dot card from her local Walgreens and instructed her to call them back when she does. At some point they showed their face but unfortunately she was on her android and i dont remember how to screen record on their.

Whats the best way to proceed ?

Weird scam call claiming a $5M prize via Google Video Chat—what’s the angle?

  • Has anyone ever heard of this specific tactic?
  • Does anyone know how a legitimate prize delivery is actually supposed to play out?

how long can leftovers be left out for?

I cooked some sausages in the air fryer last night around 9 PM and forgot about them. Finding them this morning, they've been at room temperature for roughly 12 hours. Can they be salvaged if I reheat them thoroughly, or should I just throw them out?

Can a storm door be installed if a hose spigot is only 1–2 inches from the frame?

I'm trying to replace a single storm door, but there is a hose spigot cemented into the wall roughly 1–2 inches from the door frame.

Home Depot came out to take measurements but ultimately refused the job, stating they didn't want to be liable because it's too close. However, I think there might have been a miscommunication—it seemed like they thought the spigot was on the hinge side (which I agree would be an issue), but it's actually on the opposite side.

Does a spigot being that close to the frame cause any other mechanical or installation issues if it's not on the hinge side, or should this be a straightforward install?
