What A Ride

I'm not saying this was the most satisfying Platinum Triphy I've ever earned, but I enjoyed the hell out of this journey. While not the most refined game, it was fun enough to overlook it's imperfections

Is it Conceivable for Nintendo to Remake Mario 64?

Here me out. Nintendo already released the Star Fox 64 remake and announced the Ocarina of Time remake. Nate the Hate (who leaked these 2 games prior) believes Nintendo will release a 3D Mario game in 2027. Given the current track record with 64 remakes, I would not be shocked if this "new" 3D Mario end up being SM64. That is not to say they aren't working on a completely new Mario game, but it makes sense considering how Nintendo loves to take the path of least resistance and capitalize on nostalgia. Would you be excited over such a possibility?

I'm Not Taking This Well

I knew that we were going to get to this point eventually, I just thought that it would be another console generation before they all digital future. Either way I doubt I'm going to buy a system that's digital only, especially with the lack of quality AAA games I've seen from Sony and Microsoft lately

The Cope Is Real

I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone defends Ubisoft in leau of all the horrible decisions and self induced controversies that put them in the position they find themselves in?

Anything Look Off?

I took apart my Anbernic RG40XXH to see what could be the source of the vertical lines on my screen. Does anyone who is more experienced than me see anything that could explain the problem?

How To Fix This

I dropped my Anberbic RG40XXH and when I turn it on this is what I get. Is this something I can fix myself or do I have to get it repaired?

My Imaan Has Been Shaken Lately

Assalamualaikum everyone.

I am a Lebanese Shia male living in the United States. I am in need of advice as I am very depressed and having a difficult time lifting myself up from this mental and emotional anguish that I am in right now.

First of all, I want to say that I am fully aware that this life does not matter, and that our only purpose in this dunya is to worship Allah (swt) the way that our Rasul (as) and the Ahl Bayt taught us.

Having said this, I am not unique in saying that what is happening to our brothers and sisters in the Middle East is absolutely horrific and not a day goes by where I am not constantly sick to my stomach watching our world stay silent on such injustices. In my almost 40 years of life I have never known Lebanon to be a stable or remotely functional country, despite the stories I've heard from my parents and grandparents generation about how beautiful it used to be.

I would be lying to you all if I said I had a strong connection to Lebanon. I was born in Michigan and grew up here most of my life. My Arabic is not very good and my understanding of Quran is laughable at best. I've only visited Lebanon twice in my life, with the most recent trip in 2010. Despite that I have never seen Israel cause as much pain and destruction to my homeland as they have in the last 2 years. Yes the Palestinians have it far worse, I can't deny this fact. But watching the Shia of Lebanon being ethnically cleansed while the Lebanese government does nothing to protect its people because they are sellouts to Western governments is gut wrenching and leaves me questioning many things.

I know that Allah (swt) exists. I know that he sees and hears everything. I know that he is the best of planners and the knower of all things. I know that he is a just and merciful God. But right now it's hard for me to understand how all this evil can go on in this world. When I pray and make dua to Allah (swt), I ask that he save the innocent Muslims that are constantly being blown up by Israel despite me knowing that it will never stop and my prayers will not be answered.

I think what makes this all so much worse is that I have the luxury of living a relatively comfortable and safe life in the United States, but know that my government is taking my tax dollars to fund these genocides on our people. I am not saying I would ever harm myself, because that would be a grave transgression and an automatic ticket to Jahannam. But there is not a day that goes by where I want to continue living. I wish I never came into existence, and most days I wish I could go to bed and never wake up again even though I have a wife and 2 children that depend on me.

I only take solice in knowing that the Muslims who die at the hands of the Zionists will likely be accepted into Janna as shuhada'. But I am greatly concerned about my own spirituality and have a hard time seeing the light at the end of this dark tunnel.

Am I wrong to feel that things I'm feeling? How do I reconcile all this?

Since When Is Smash $70?

I could have sworn it was always $60 LOL. I'm kind of getting annoyed by this corporate greed/market conditions bs all these publishers keep using as an excuse to raise prices on us. Have any of you noticed other games going up in price that were already established?

Don't Settle For Less

I don't mind playing 30 FPS on older systems because I grew up playing games since the NES. But that was because it is retro media and once you make those games you can't fix them.

Nowadays 30 FPS is harder to justify because we've gotten better at optimizing games and patching them when they are buggy or release in poor condition.

My point is we shouldn't settle for less than what we deserve. Whether it be PC or console.

Do A Barrel Roll!

I don't know any game that I've played and beat more than Star Fox 64. Mind you it's a very short game, but it has amazing replay value. I can't wait to relive the experience again with the upcoming release.

Yeah, That's Car Fox

I for one am excited for the "new" Star Fox game. This might be the best looking game I've seen from a Nintendo title in years. I personally don't mind the realistic animal models as I wanted something less cartoony for a change.

Does anyone have an easy to read list of common American snacks and candies that contain gelatin or other ingredients deemed haraam? Ever since my wife and I had our children I've been more conscientious about what I put in their bodies (as well as mine as a result). I don't want to inadvertently give them kids gummies that contain pig derivatives especially
