🔴 Announcement: Zero tolerance for authoritarian glorification and genocide apologetics
We've noticed an upraise in comments recently that attempt to defend or outright glorify authoritarian figures and genocidal regimes including H***r, Hoxha and others.
Let us be absolutely clear:
This sub has zero tolerance for any form of persecution apologetics or historical revision that justifies brutality.
We have already permanently banned multiple users for:
Glorifying Hoxha's regime and downplaying its repression
Defending H****r's actions
If you find yourself justifying persecution or make oppressors look good then this is not the place for you.
Such comments will be removed and the user will be permanently banned. No exceptions.
We owe it to the victims of these regimes to never normalize or romanticize their atrocities.
Average H*tler apologist
Saw someone defending H*tler by spreading the "Js caused germany's defeat" narrative and saying they should've been forced out.
I replied with actual history to that.
Instead of responding they say "Are you Muslim?"
I said "Yeah."
Then they say
"If you had read the QURAN you would'nt be arguing me"
And I have absolutely no idea what the quran has to do with WWI or Germany😭😭
They got permanently banned for promoting Nazi propaganda (same standard we've used before for glorifying other authoritarian figures) then went into modmail swearing at us and accusing us of glorifying Js
for actually real one of the weirdest conversations I've had on this site😭😭
Alabasta Is Absolutely Incredible
So guys I just finished reading the Alabasta arc and PEAK 😭 damn... this arc was insane.
At first it looked meh but then it just kept getting better and better. By the end I was completely hooked. Crocodile was such a villain, the whole civil war had me invested and the art was just beautiful. Some of those panels were just chef's kiss. I wasn't expecting to love this arc this much.
Y'all better not tell me this isn't the greatest arc in One Piece.
man... Oda absolutely cooked with Alabasta 🔥
Reminder: Religious Discussions
We've recently received a number of reports regarding comments that criticize religions so we'd like to clarify our moderation policy.
This community is open to people of all backgrounds, beliefs. It is not a community dedicated to any one religion or worldview. As a result discussions involving religion are permitted including criticism, debate, or any disagreement.
Criticizing a religion like Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, Atheism (Ik it's not a religion or worldview, but still) , its teachings, practices, history or beliefs does not violate our rules. The same standard applies to all religions and belief systems. We do not remove content simply because someone finds criticism of their beliefs offensive or disagrees with it.
However there is an important distinction between criticizing ideas and attacking people. Do be sure to remember that.
Not every opinion you disagree with is a rule violation. If someone is criticizing a religion or sharing a different viewpoint, the content will remain up even if others strongly disagree with it.
If you choose to report a post or comment please do so because it actually breaks a rule and not because you dislike or disagree with what it says.
At the end of the day our job isn't to decide which beliefs are right or wrong. Our job is to enforce the rules for everyon regardless of their religion or worldview.
You're allowed to delete one subject from the education system forever. Which one are you choosing ?
Every student has one subject they think is a complete waste of time. Many hate it because it's nothing but memorization and some hate it cuz it's too difficult for them.
If you had the power to permanently remove one subject from the curriculum which one would it be? And if you want to answer that as well, why that one? What would you replace it with if you want to?
Trying to explain your reasoning would me more appreciated than just naming the subject but you are free to do so :)
me too me too

What is your impression of me? what am i like?

Should religion and the state stay separate?
Personally tho I think they should.
The government's job is to govern people than to enforce religious beliefs. In a society where people have different faithsbor no faith at all, the state should remain neutral and treat everyone equally under the law. Religion should guide those who choose to follow it but the government shouldn't decide which religious views should shape everyone's lives.
Curious to hear the other side tho. If you disagree, why so? What do you think is gained by mixing religion and the state?
Should schools separate boys and girls? 🤔
Hmm so some people think separate schools help students focus more and reduce distractions while some think boys and girls should study together because hey that's how real life works.
Personally tho I'd go with co ed schools. Because I don't believe boys and girls should grow up treating each other like they're from different planets or that they can't even have a normal conversation. Learning to interact with each other respectfully is part of growing up and it'll help later in everyday life.
What do you think? If you had the choice would you pick a co ed school or a separate one and why?
