(Update: I Got the computer working again, unfortunately the hard drive I bought is already dead, but I still appreciate your help)

I recently got the computer from eBay, but it had no hard drive, so I got that separately, though after installing it I turned the computer back on and the power button didn't work anymore and there was no video, I took out the hard drive and then booted it again to the same results does anyone know what I did wrong
