How feasible would a fan recompilation of the Xbox 360 versions of the Disney Infinity games be? (Including Portal functionality)

This is for all the tech nerds

I've always wanted to play Disney Infinity the way it was intended to be played on consoles, but on PC. Sadly, the Steam version of the game doesn't quite cut it, especially as someone who has a collection of Marvel Disney Infinity figures. I still play the game from time to time on my Xbox 360.

Imagine if somebody were to recompile the games with portal functionality. You could play Disney Infinity the way it's supposed to be played on something like a Steam Deck docked onto your TV, while still being able to use the physical figures and portal.

After months of searching, I finally found out that one of my lost online friends is doing well and has even started a family!

We were only around 9 and 10 years old when we met back in 2017. We used to do Sonic and Nintendo roleplays together every so often on a social platform called "Miiverse", which was for the Wii U and 3DS. He even invited me to join his clan, and I always remember how much art he shared. We weren't inseparable or anything, but he was a memorable part of my online childhood. It's strange to think that nearly a decade has passed since those days. We were just kids who happened to meet through a social platform on Nintendo consoles, and now we're adults living completely different lives.

After months of searching through old archives and usernames, I eventually found a public post online that confirmed he was doing well. I recognised him from the YouTube videos he made as a kid and was genuinely delighted to see that he'd built a happy life and started a family. I'm grateful to know he's doing well. Sometimes the internet really does create friendships that stay with you long after all contact is lost.

Although I now know he's doing well, I chose not to contact him directly out of respect. Sometimes it's enough to know that someone from your online childhood is happy and living a good life. I also deleted the posts regarding him on this subreddit, as I felt they were no longer appropriate now that I had my answer.

If you're reading this and you're still searching for someone from your own online childhood, I genuinely hope you find the same sense of closure I did. Sometimes that's all we really need.❤️

Finding out that he's doing well and has built a happy life of his own genuinely made me smile and even brought a tear to my eye. I'm simply grateful to know he's happy. Sometimes the internet really does create friendships that stay with you long after the service itself is gone, and all contact is lost.

It took me months of searching, but in the end I found the answer I was looking for in a public post online. Although I now know he's doing well, I chose not to contact him directly out of respect. Thank you, Miiverse, for giving us those memories. ❤️

Anyone else dealing with the right side of their JBL Tune Beam case not charging anymore?

My right earbud suddenly stopped charging even though the case is fully charged. The right earbud will briefly detect that it's charging for a split second if I move it around in the case, but then it immediately stops.

I've tried cleaning the contacts with ethanol, checking the pins, and even the folded paper trick to apply more pressure, but nothing has worked.

I came across this post and noticed that many people were experiencing the same thing; the earliest comment mentioning the issue was 2 days old. How many people have had this happen recently? If so, how old were your earbuds? Mine were just over a year and a half old smh.

I'm starting to think this could be some design or manufacturing issue. If so, then this is really disappointing from JBL, especially since they are still selling this model online despite what seems to be a recurring problem.

Looking for JTG (Miiverse NNID: joandrasincere)/JayPlayz on YT/JayPlayz#9221

I’m trying to find someone I used to be friends with on Miiverse.

Back then, we used to do Sonic and Nintendo roleplays together, and he also posted a lot of his own art on Miiverse. I recently went through Archiverse and found one of his old posts that had an embedded YouTube video. The video itself was deleted, but I managed to recover the link, run it through a YouTube metadata archive site, and that’s how I found his old channel.

His channel name was JayPlayz (handle: jayplayzgamez). He had around 30-40K subscribers and was active until around September 2022, when the channel got terminated or deleted.

searching through the leftovers of the uploads, I was able to find his Discord name and tag (JayPlayz#9221) Which sadly lead to nowhere

If anyone wants to help me find them, please feel free to dm me

Is anyone in the fandom working on a recompilation of this game?

This game came back into my mind recently, played it 4 years back and loved it, would be nice if there's a recompilation going on.

What happened to JXD?

Question + Discussion

When I was around 6 years old back in late 2013, my dad got me the white PSP-esque handheld for my birthday, had loads of fun with it playing retro games (Street Fighter, that one Punisher game, heck even pushing into N64/PS1 territory with Mario 64 and Tekken) and some knockoff CS 1.6 game. Sadly, the battery began to get bad 2 years in, and I abandoned it (dunno where it is now), and since then, I have had a fascination with handhelds (Although the thought of Android handhelds didn't pop up in my head until 2 years ago)

I tried digging into their Wikipedia page, but found nothing. It seems like they completely disappeared.

Any handheld aficionados feel free to enlighten me.

Had a cheap mobile gaming controller for the Pixel 9, and it struggled with the camera bump, which I found annoying. Thankfully, it broke.

Any suggestions?
