I am born and raised in the Uk

So I have been a fan of Markiplier since 2014 and I think I have probably watched 90% of the videos he has uploaded since then

Sadly I was slightly too young when the your welcome tour originally happened so I missed that opportunity and since then I have been hoping for some kind of meet and greet or panel in the uk but sadly it hasn’t happened

I know he is obviously busy and being socially awkward myself I appreciate that he isn’t the best when it comes to meeting and engaging with fans

I know it’s a little parasocial but like, he has been a part of my life for nearly 12 years. My best friend and I originally bonded over both liking and watching Markiplier and now we live in a flat together

I listen to distractible probably 3 to 4 times a week minimum and it has been one of the things that has gotten me through the stress of adult life

I don’t expect to have like a long conversation or anything but just the opportunity to see him in person and give him just a genuine heartfelt thank you

Went to Asda today to do my Sunday shop for the week. Thought I’d have a peek in the reduced section to see if there was anything

When I look there were 3 whole chickens which were reduced because they were close to expiry. Cool. I’ll have that for my tea tonight and use the leftover meat for my sandwiches for work tomorrow

I grab one and place it in my basket. As I turn to leave I notice a woman who had stood behind me and had an annoyed look on her face. I continued walking but from the corner of my eye I saw her scoop up the last 2 chickens and put them in her trolley

I continued walking and then stop a few shelves down to look at what gravy/sauce I want with my chicken. As I’m browsing I suddenly feel my basket become a lot lighter.

Confused I look and see my chicken is missing. I look up and the same woman is speed walking in the opposite direction towards her trolley. I then see her place the chicken in her trolley

Annoyed I walk over and tell her to give me it back

‘Sorry. No English’ *she puts on a fake confused look and starts to try and push her trolley away*

I move to block the trolley and tell her to give me the chicken back again. She shakes her head

Luckily. A staff member walks up to the two of us and grabs her trolley and says. ‘I just saw you do that. Give him it back, put the other two chickens back and then get out’

The woman tried to argue for a few seconds (odd for someone who can’t speak English), but eventually she passed me the chicken and then took the others back to the reduced section

I thanked the worker and he smiled, nodded and walked off like a hero.

I continued my shop, went home and I’m in the process of cooking my chicken which Im sure a will taste better than usual today

I’m 26 male. Very socially awkward and struggle to talk to people

I can count on 1 hand the amount of times I have initiated a conversation with a stranger that wasn’t:
- asking someone for help/directions
- speaking to a worker somewhere

The thing is though there are plenty of situations where I would want to talk to / meet someone but i just can’t initiate

I would sit on my own silently in a room full of people for an eternity, inside screaming ‘someone please talk to me’, and never speak to anyone

My entire friend group right now is people who have either initiated or a friend of a friend. Even then, there are member of my friend group who it took months/years for me to have a one on one conversation with

It just doesn’t make sense. Like I am in a situation where talking to someone would be okay, or even the norm and yet I can sit there for hours. Hours where my only thought is how lonely I am and how desperately I want someone to speak to me and yet I’ll still do nothing

Been getting back into the game and trying to unlock drifter

Had about 5 attempts at solus wing where I always die in the final phase because I get overwhelmed by the heat and the lasers and trying to find the cool zones etc

Finally beat him today and was happy. I was on the ground floor but stood a good distance away from the boss as he was dying

Then all of a sudden my character just drops from full HP to dead. Super sad because it didn’t count as a win of me beating solus and I didn’t get to unlock drifter

Also I had a power elixir in my inventory that didn’t go off

What happened?

I’m a 26 year old from Bradford. Long story short, never even been on a date and haven’t been kissed since I was 10. Never had anyone show any interest in me

Don’t really like going on nights out and when I very occasionally do I find myself on my own feeling invisible in a room full of people

My hobbies are basically video games and board games which I do regularly and the ratio of boys to girls in those hobbies is 10-1 and even then my awkwardness and mediocre looks puts me behind others who are good looking and charismatic

I struggle to befriend people or even just talk. I could be sat in a room and in my head I am begging for someone, anyone come talk to me but to them I look like I want to be alone. Then when someone does finally talk to me it lasts a minute before they walk off and i realise I gave one word responses and didn’t ask them any questions about themselves

Once people get to know me though I can be very talkative. Perhaps too much so that I become overbearing and put people off. I’m just so excited to have someone to talk to. But that’s like a once every 3 year event. I’ve also found that around friends and others I am the funny one always making others laugh and it feels great

I am better at texting so I tried online dating. I have used them for about 2 years in total spread out in bursts across the last 6 years

Completely useless. Multiple different apps. Liking hundreds of profile. Paying for premium. 2 matches, one of them didn’t respond and the other was trying to be a sugar baby (I was 19 lmao). It feels so confusing. I fill out lots of details. Put decent photos. Like dozens of profiles of girls with nerdy hobbies and responses that match mine. Nothing

I’m just so lost. I don’t know how to start and it feels like I’m at the point of just accepting I will be alone. In a way I have made my peace. I used to obsess over the idea of getting a girlfriend but now I’m just… ehh…

Just made it to ultra ball tier and getting stomped so far. Definitely need to practise some more

Had a match with a guy where he got more favourable picks than me (tbf even in the matchmaking I had no clue how I was gonna deal with his team)

I had my first experience of weavile using counter to deal double damage back to me and then spamming fake out

Anyway. We get down to my gyarados vs his primarina and he had Corvinknight in the back. Neither of us have a super effective move so we are slowly wittling eachother down. Moonblast is gonna kill me in 2 turns while he still looks healthy

Anyway. One hit away from killing me he goes for encore and switches out to corviknight and begins to spam iron defense. He has leftovers and when his health gets low he just roosts it back.

Then when he finally reaches maximum defense he body presses me

He could have killed me at any point. But he wanted to have his moment of fun

Mine is:

1. Opponent sends out strong flying type (especially mega charizard Y)

2. They knock my mamoswine down to 1 hp. Survives with focus sash

3. Mamoswine uses smackdown and OHKOs them

I ended up finishing work late due to a meeting with overrun and missed my bus. Wasn’t another for an hour and I had a family event to get to

I order an uber X and I put a decent tip on because I’m in a hurry. As soon as I start searching I see dozens of cars around me (I work/live in a big city). In the years I have lived and worked here I have used a dozen Ubers and never had to wait more than 3 minutes

Anyway my ride immediately gets accepted and I look down to see a 7 minute wait time. I was accepted by a guy half way across town. I’m a bit annoyed but I decide to stick with it

5 minutes later I look down and it’s gone up to 10 minutes. I can see the guy has gone in a weird direction parallel to where I am

More weird is I can see that his gps route for some reason goes past the street I am on (literally the right turn to my street), 5 minutes down the road and then in a circle to come back to me. I watch and assume it is a gps error and the dude will realise and just take the right

Nope. He goes the whole circle. Best of all. He stops outside of a hotel for 3 minutes on the way. I realise that this guy is dropping someone else off

Eventually he loops back to me and I get into the car. I immediately smell the strongest smell of weed. Thank god he was driving with all 4 windows down. Also part of his dashboard was being held together by duct tape

I nearly froze to death on the way day from the breeze through all 4 windows but was oddly grateful as I tried not to pass out from the weed fumes

And somehow he had a 4.99 rating?!

My friends and I are doing a Halloween event this year where we pretend to go to a haunted hotel as different characters and then chaos ensues

My character is the typical ghost hunting YouTuber so I plan to go in with some phasmophobia-esque equipment and play it up for the camera

For this I want to have an emf reader that is either fake (I.e has like a button or something I can press to make it show false readings) or to have an easy way to trick an emf reader

Does anyone know how this can be done (preferably not needing a soldering iron or circuitry knowledge)
