My quite brand new IPhone 16e (2 1/2 months old) dropped its battery life from 100% to 99% , 2 days after I updated it to Ios 18.7.8 .
That was after a lot of consideration , given the fact that I had so many bugs and issues with the phone. Not only it didn’t fix any of the old problems ,now it gave me one more reason to regret buying it.
I really need an opinion as my sister had a very unpleasant and traumatic experience with her implants and she’s now scared to go back and also to ask for another option.
I won’t give to much details as I don’t want to risk exposing who she is(or where she went).She had all her teeth extracted then right away temporaries(everything was done in 4 days, no stay in, no checks right after ).She was so extremely bruised and swallowed that anyone who wouldn’t know she had the procedure would think she either got in a car accident or she was a domestic attack victim ( I never seen anything like this anywhere ).She then had a check up after around 5 months and they say everything was fine and to come back for permanent ones. She has no pain , she bites quite well but she says that she feel a bit pressure around her front teeth (but its better than before) and also some swelling around her right jaw( went down from what it was).

Anyone else has problems with their notifications?It seems that either my notifications aren’t working or sometimes I don’t get any sounds for them.Also any time I have a new message in Whatsapp , I dont get the sound.Has anybody came across this problem yet?
Really curious if you would have the option to choose again,would you still stick with the 16e?
Exactly what the title says, I want to know how you are finding the update.I have 18.5 with a few bugs and not a great battery life .
So I just updated my old Samsung to an IPhone 16e just 4 days ago.I had an iPhone a few years before so I knew how reliable and good they are.But now I have doubts about the phone.
My battery is absolutely rubbish.Right from the start I turned off many functions just to be safe (background refresh,location,Apple intelligence,4g instead of 5g ,automatic updates and much more). Now I don’t have WiFi at home so I only rely on my Sim Carrier.
First day Monday I got around 2 hours and 11 minutes straight from the box(it was 44% when I first turned on the phone).Then on Tuesday I got around 5 hours of SOF.
Yesterday I got around 7 hours of SOT with low power mode.Now I am shocked and disappointed because I have 3 hours is SOT and I am at 14% left on low power mode.
I want to specify I didn’t even update or transfer anything from my old phone and didn’t even manage to set up my accounts and apps .No gaming(I don’t game on my phone), only safari , Waze in the morning when I travel to work (45 min), and TikTok.I charged the phone 4 times already and I am about to charge it again.
Is this actually normal?Should I try to update to Ios26.5?I am debating if I should return it but I really love this phone😭

I need a new phone and can't decide between Samsung galaxy s26 ultra and Iphone 17 Pro Max.
Actual phone is a cheap Samsung A22 but I had a few Iphone's in the past(Iphone6 plus was my last Iphone).
The only thing that takes me back on buying the Iphone is not knowing if they actually change how file management works.
Sell me the phone you think is worth it.
