CX30 Acceleration Concern
I recently bought a 2023 Mazda CX-30 with milaegae of 40,000; and my average fuel economy is only around 23.8 MPG. I mostly do city driving, but I feel that’s a little low.
I’ve also noticed that when accelerating from a stop, such as at a traffic light, I have to press the accelerator quite a bit, which causes the RPM to rise noticeably. Because of this, I’m wondering if it’s affecting my fuel economy.
Is this normal behavior for the Mazda CX-30, or could there be an issue with the car’s acceleration or transmission? Do other Mazda owners experience similar pickup and RPM behavior after coming to a stop?
