This is going to be a little change of pace...

There have been so many not so great experiences for both shoppers and customers, especially lately. I am adding this just as a little reminder that as a customer, we are not all bad. I actually care about those who shop for me and actually have a little group that has been consistently shopping when I order. Yesterday I got a new shopper and it's been a while. I ordered a bunch of fruit, set my substitutions if they weren't already saved and that was that.

For the starting tip I had it set at 20% which at the time, I believe was somewhere between $12.50-$12.80, but I always put the order in set at 20% when it's a medium sized order like this. I didn't receive any messages and there was no communication between my shopper (her name was Kathy) and I. I got the typical texts when she checked out and the texts that come through until delivery. I always make it a point to thank my shopper even before I get everything out of the bags. Just to show a little appreciation just for doing the job. Depending whether or not anything happened during or at delivery time, the shopper gets the minimum tip I set when I ordered, but sometimes I will add extra. Fruits are always tricky but this lady was awesome.

This is just something to show not all customers are disrespectful, ungrateful or feel entitled. A simple matter of shopping my fruit to make sure it was decent at least, does not go unnoticed and it is very much appreciated. So to all shoppers, not all of us customers discount what you do when shopping for us and all customers need to understand that not all shoppers are lazy or incompetent. It might not seem like a big deal, but times are tough, especially now and the fact this woman brought the best fruit ever, I ended up increasing the tip to $18.00. I don't know what you all get paid, but it doesn't take a genius to think it isn't great. This woman responded with such a nice message and thanked me repeatedly. I don't know. The message is we are all human and could use just a smidge of kindness. We all just need to remember that.

Because this is Reddit, here's my receipt just so we don't start telling me to prove it or that I'm a liar. Thank you all shoppers who care about your customers! ❤️

Just an illusion pop off set to start the day.

I've got quite a few sets to catch up on, but this is the start of them. Just a quickie illusion set in shades of blue. Hope everyone enjoys the day/night! 💙

Quick question for drivers...

I just had an order for a single item at a Wendy's. I use Grubhub all the time and never had any real issues. Everything was typical up until the driver picked up my order. I had got 3 notifications back to back and the last one was saying it was delivered early. It had the usual link to take me to download the location or delivery photo and its was the item I ordered but it was clear the driver took the photo at Wendy's. I then tried reaching him and got nothing back. I waited a few minutes and checked the app to see the status which showed delivered. Because I got no response or food, I reported that it wasn't delivered and was able to show the photo was taken in the store and never got here. So Grubhub texted me canceling my order and had a new driver complete the delivery.

Half an hour from the original order, the driver texts me and is angry at me because he said the order had just then got canceled and he's mad for not getting paid. I was confused because I had the confirmation text for it being delivered, the photo they took with my item in their hand but were clearly at the store still and I tried messaging them several times with no response until half an hour later. My new courier had already went to the store, delivered my order and was gone, long before I even got a text from the 1st driver. I tried telling him what I received and he just kept this attitude and blaming me because he said the order got magically canceled right when he was on his way. If that was the case then he would've had my ice cream in his car, while its 92 degrees outside for the last half an hour.

Anyway, I sent him screenshots of everything that I received, including the text telling me he delivered it and the photo he provided that was the delivery photo on my end. He's saying I'm lying because he didn't mark it delivered on his end and that the photo is something he took because he's required to do so when he picks up an order. I never got a photo during the time an order is being picked up and all of that, only when delivered. I tried telling him I understand his frustration but this was not something I did. Now he's blaming me because the order was canceled on him, and hes out the money and doesn't get paid. So, my questions are has anyone else had this happen? Any drivers that can maybe give me an idea here of what I did wrong would be great because I don't understand how I'm the cause of him losing pay. I didn't send myself the texts and its his photo that was sent to me through Grubhub. While it might be true that he has to take photos when he picks it up, and delivers it, I have never gotten any photos until delivery. I mean I really don't understand what did I do wrong here?

This was just a little something to switch things up. I still had to use a cat eye though. Of course I ended up forgetting to add some details, but these will do for now.

The cat eye & chrome set I did in the tutorial...

This is the photos and videos from the set I did on the posted tutorial.

On a side note, thank you to everybody because it had me in tears today. Not bad ones for once, so it was so nice. Also, I promise I will get better at filming tutorials and will improve. Just be patient with me. Again, thank you for all the love. ❤️ 🥹

I realize now that it isn't the best video because I forgot sounds and stuff, but hopefully this will help. I have to say I am an amputee, so when you see stuff falling over or the little duck face on my hand, thats how I can hold a brush or magnet. Please just be patient with me.

These are Apres Stilleto tips.

I used GAOY cat eye gel #2929 for the color of the nail and moved the particles around towards the center of the nail. Then cure for 60 seconds.

I used Beetles topcoat that I cured for 30 seconds before adding the chrome.

I used High Brightness chrome #5 from Dynamic Nail Supply.

I used a 8-in-1 gel from Double Rhythm on top of the chrome.

After curing that for a full minute, I then do my final topcoat (Beetles again) and cured for 1 minute. That's all there is to it!

I genuinely hope this helps show how to do these because they are just so cute. If anyone has any questions or anything, I will always do my best. Thank you all for the love. ❤️

After my last set, I've decided to try different colors of cat eye gels, with different chrome powders. Even with all the videos and photos, there are still colors that didn't show on camera. I used a new cat eye gel (Kat Fight) from NAILZ BY DEV Nail Book. I can't believe how cool these look. I definitely didn't expect these colors as the outcome. How do we feel about these?

Nothing like some cat eye and chrome nails. I can't believe I actually made these! How did I do?

It's always the sets that I don't think are going to be favorites that turn out like these and now I am just shocked. My husband is not going to be thrilled when I tell him I refuse to wash any dishes tonight. 🤣

For a pop off set of press ons that isn't hard to do, the amount of hours it took is insane! I'm just wondering are they worth it?

This is the first set of nails I finished, using this cat eye design. I still have a few more sets to finish like these, but not too bad for the first set of the day. I am deeply obsessed with cat eye gels and admit I have a problem. 😆
