Installing a door and door casing for a friend, the door jamb is off by 1/4" - proud, from the drywall.
How to solve this problem? Install a new door jamb and then proceed, or plane it till it's flush with the wall?

Anyone come across a suspicious black vehicle? Possibly a Honda. Before this the individual inside the vehicle tried to give my mom something - read online its a way to distract to steal jewellery. The driver said take a paper for the kids(my kids were playing on the front yard). Then we saw the same vehicle parked at a stop sign but 2/3s infront of the stop sign.
Stay safe.
Do you design the wainscoting on the wall itself or do you draw it out on paper with all dimensions and etc?
Edit: typo
Issue I'm having is I can't fit my drill into the space to add new holes. So I'm thinking of using blocking to support the bookshelves, I need help to find out if two support blocks is fine or should I place three?
Also, how much height for each block? Is 3/4" inch or should it be double the height of the bookshelf? And I will be screwing them in end to end.
Thank you.

Any advice on which college to go to? Humber, mohawk, or Georgian college? Any taken carpentry at any of these schools? Worth it?
I've tried two belt buckles/carpenter pouches, both felt uncomfortable and just dragging weight on my waist so it's hard to work with speed.
Any recommendations of which type to get? A vest like this maybe?

Are both these items required for tighter miter joints?
Also, what makes miters off? One side is shorter?

Making mistakes with miters.
I want the trim to sit flush on the inside box(wear my finger is pointing in image 2), therefore, I must measure the inside right? And also, I confused myself with wanting 1" overhang so when I measured from outside frame(legs are) I added the overhang for each side which is 2", everything became so off... So I did it wrong that means. It didn't align to the inside frame at all.
Any tips?
Which angle finder product do you use/recommend?
