97% in cbse should I apply

hi, I've been eyeing this university for a long time and I wanted to apply in faculty of arts or social sciences. Im unsure about the cbse merit scholarship, is it full ride for 97% or 98%? what will i get for just 97? I'm also low income so will they increase the scholarship to cover living and stipend based on that?

Colleges still open for BA Sociology/History/Pol Sci applications?

Myquals: 86% in 10th, 12th result awaited (humanities).

I’m giving CUET + waiting for Ashoka and Jamia results, and I’m trying to figure out what other good colleges are still accepting applications for Sociology/History/Political Science. Affordability/scholarships matter a lot for me too.

Right now I’m also thinking about applying to St. Xavier’s Kolkata and maybe Jadavpur University if possible.

Would appreciate recommendations for good humanities/social science colleges where applications are still open, especially places with strong sociology departments, decent academic culture, and good financial aid. Thank you.

Which college has the best dept for socio and how are the profs for sociology? Where do students usually intern and where do they end up going after the degree? How are societies and events and do guest lecturers come often?

12th waiting for results

Im from the humanities stream and I found out about this scholarship just a while ago but the problem is it starts in April 2027 and then theres a one year training program and the actual degree starts from 2028, is it worth it? I'm targetting sociology.

I mentioned in the optional and additional section of my application that my academic performance has been slightly affected by mental health challenges and I described as mild to moderate depression (undiagnosed) and possible ADHD also but I explicitly mentioned it's undiagnosed and not severe

I felt like the most honest way to explain some inconsistencies with my academics

But now I’ve been seeing a lot of posts advising against mentioning mental health at all, and it’s making me second-guess the decision.

I’m mainly worried about whether this could somehow be flagged or followed up on especially since my parents are very unsupportive about these things, and I’m not in a place where I want to pursue a diagnosis yet. If I ever do, I’d want that to be on my own terms and not because Ashoka wants it to keep records or anything

I guess I’m just wondering if anyone else has done something similar, and how it was received.
