Fortnite x Mega Man X concept remake!

I actually began working on this in June long before the reveals of the next season began. This concept is a remake of an old one I made over 3 years ago. Here are some notes and tidbits regarding the concept:

-I wanted to include the Command Mission armor as an edit style but I was running out of time.

-For the Backbling, The Light Capsule is reactive as the Dr. Light hologram will briefly appear after eliminating a player.

-For his glider, I was considering using the version that X dropped from near the beginning of the Day of Sigma OVA but I eventually realized that the original one is much more recognizable

And one more thing: on the official Keyart for Chapter 7: Season 4, Jones can actually be seen wielding the very same X-Buster that belongs to X. I hope that means something because this has been my most wanted collaboration for the last 5 years and it means a lot that it’s finally going to happen at last.

Is it okay for the application process to go longer than intended?

To summarize everything, I stopped by my local Little Caesers over a week ago to turn in an application. Then the next day, the manager called me to ask for my email address so they could send me an online form the next day to set up a Paycor account and fill out my information which would then allow me to start working. However I never received any kind of email containing these contents afterwards. I called the place a couple of days later to bring up the issue and the manager did provide more clarification about how the email was meant to be sent on the intended day and would contain all the information needed to set up the account. We both came to the conclusion that one of us may have made a small mistake when sharing the email address. Thankfully she sounded incredibly helpful and told me it’d be figured out eventually. I called them again two days ago and the current update was that she’d look at my application later that day. But I’m getting a little more worried that it’s going to fall apart in the end. I just want to know if this situation is common when applying here and if anyone else has experienced it so I can at least have more hope that it pays off.

A small roadblock in the job process involving Paycor setup

This is a follow up to a post I made earlier today regarding my application process at my local Little Caesers. Apparently I have to set up an account on this service called Paycor which is how I’m supposed to fill out my information to get started on the job. However, it’s asking for an access code even though the manager said it wouldn’t be needed. Do I have to search for it online or make another call? This process is getting tedious!

Haven’t heard back from my local Little Caesar’s about my application, what should I do? (US)

Last week, I stopped by my local Little Caesar’s to drop off an application for the crew service position. Then on Sunday, the manager called me to ask for my email so that she could send an online form to fill out the information which would then give me the confirmation to head back and start the job. However, it’s already been a few days and I haven’t received any kind of email from them containing the form. I’m worried that I might’ve just quietly lost the chance to work there. Is there anything I can do next?

[TOMT][TV][1970s] Hilarious sitcom episode

Awhile ago, me and my brothers were watching an episode of this old sitcom from the 70s where a man tells his father about this activity involving a group of people touching each other which has the father weirded out. He then asks if he can invite those people over which the father seems hesitant about but agreed. Then everyone shows up and the father seems absolutely confused and shocked by everyone making contact with each other in the living room. Then it led to this hilarious gag where the father saw one of the guys with an Afro and told him to take off his hat. If anyone can find it, please do because that’s genuinely been some of the funniest stuff I’ve seen on TV in a good while.

Job Training today, will a passport really work as a substitute for a Social Security Card? (USA)

Earlier this week, I made a post about how I had to miss my original training since I didn’t have my SSC since I unfortunately lost it. The next day, I went to the SSA to schedule an appointment for a replacement card in August and also stopped by the McDonalds to reschedule my original training session to today.

It starts in a few hours so I just need to know: can a passport really be used if you don’t bring a SSC? I still have mine and I’ve been told that this is the case but I remember the hiring manager being very insistent that I bring the card so they could make copies to send to the office so I’m a little skeptical about this.

What should I do if I missed my training due to losing a SSC? (USA)

Last Friday, I had an interview at my local McDonalds and had a training session scheduled for today. However, I got sent home since I didn’t have my Social Security Card because I unfortunately lost it. I’ve tried calling the place back to ask if I can reschedule the training when I get my replacement card but have gotten no response. Am I in a bad position? I’ve been trying to apply to jobs for over 2 years but have had bad luck and this job at McDonalds seemed like my only shot and now I might have ruined it.

Why did we never get more sprite-based back blings after PAC-MAN?

This seems like it’d be an easy and fun genre of cosmetics to produce and they’re just not even going to bother doing it again? Though I’m being honest, probably the only other Gaming Legend this would have suited best is Mega Man since his 8-Bit sprite is super iconic and nearly all of his actions are compatible with Fortnite’s gameplay. Except I think we’ve reached the point where classic Mega Man can actually work as a full blown skin. (BTW, how has Fortnite and Capcom been working together for over 5 years and never thought to do a Mega Man crossover?

And instead of licensed gaming characters, why not make more sprite back blings based on Fortnite’s own cast of characters such as Peely, Fishstick, Jonesy, or any other highly marketable Chapter 1 character? This game has such a weird habit of doing something cool only once and then never trying it again.
