OK, so I really don’t care what the haters have to say about Aniya ,I just love her for what I’ve seen and that’s that.
I made a post on here during the first couple of episodes, now deleted ofc, when her and that evil man got together about how cute they were, but then he started manipulating her, and I don’t like that at all. I’ve been upset with him for a while now, and I’m glad that his true nature is coming to light with all of the nasty comments he’s been making behind her back. Like how dare he actually but anyway we will rise.
I have to say I am moving for her and Carl right now, but I am trying to be wary of every single man on the island no matter what so I’m just gonna root for Aniya at the end of the day and whoever she picks is gonna have to be fine with me🤷🏽♀️
Okay so originally I wasn’t going to post here but I just don’t know what to do so I thought why not. Also sorry for the inconsistent capitalization, Im on my phone and atp I dont care.
To keep it simple my (22F) bestfriend (22M) has been ghosting me since wednesday of last week, it’s tuesday now. Everything was fine, I had to drop my car off for some damage and the guys at the shop were being difficult so I was upset. My friend called 2 times while I was at the shop talking to this guy.
I texted and said: “so I was actually about to just get my car fixed, but then they had to reschedule and honestly I don’t wanna talk about it, but I cannot call right now for my own sanity”
then I felt kinda bad so I texted an hour later with this:
“Hey sorry about that, the guys at the auto shop had me so fucking mad, if you wanna call later, after 3 is better”
He responds an hour later with: “I was fired”
This is a whole thing but to help yall understand, basically he was working this job just for the last school year and his last day was supposed to be that Friday and then he was moving to a new town. So instead of keeping him around until Friday I guess they fired him wednesday, but I couldn’t tell you why.
anyway here are the next few messages:
me: From where, wtf?! (Because I was trying to figure out if it was that job or the new one he was set to start.)
him: But you said you can’t talk so I’ll let you keep doing what your doing
me: don’t do that. I said I can’t call, just text me.
him: I don’t wanna text
me: fine
okay that’s over, so i keep doing my work I had to get done and then the clock strikes 3. So Im waiting for a call and there’s nothing. So 3:20ish I text him:
me: do you wanna call now?
him: im about to get my haircut
me: okay
cool whatever we can talk later. So 5 rolls around and I pick up my siblings from school and then go straight to my other sister’s school for an event. Im stuck there for an hour with no service or wifi but when I leave around 6:15 I see he called me during the event. So Im like damn not I missed him again and I shoot him a text:
me: i was at an event at “lisa’s” school, whats up?
radio silence. no response no nothing. so Im like okay you know what he had a rough day clearly, Im just gonna give him the space tonight and we can talk tomorrow. He’ll probably respond in the morning.
Next morning, no response, that’s cool I live my life and do what I need to do. I don’t hear from him all day. Now you might be thinking “why didn’t you text him.” I don’t really feel the need to double text people, I asked him a question, he didn’t respond, I was waiting for a response. Additionally I was thinking he just wanted to take some time. So yeah days go by and Im driving across states so I can move out of my place and also to see my sister and some other friends, and Im checking instagram and he had posted on his story. Just some stuff about moving and his new job. Okay cool whatever.
but let me tell yall something about Josh. He does this thing when he’s mad at somebody he won’t text them and he waits for them to text him. I think that that it is childish. If you have a problem with somebody, then you need to talk to them. If he has a problem with me then he needs to talk to me, not give me the silent treatment. I’ve always been the person to reach out in the past when he does this so I was like you know what I’m not gonna text you if you really don’t want to tell me what’s going on.
BUT TODAY, he posts on his notes: “losing friends and finding peace”
OH okay. So you rather post on instagram than have an actual conversation with me? I think that is childish and disrespectful.
So AIO? Am I right to be upset or am I in the wrong? I can understand if he was upset because I wasn’t there for him, but I also have a lot of responsibilities and am pretty busy these days. I gave him a time that would work to talk and he didn’t reach out then but at a later time when I was busy. Mind you he has my location and we went to the same high school I was stuck at for my sister’s event so he knows how the service is there.
This might sound stupid to yall but I don’t know if I should say something and confront him or if I should just let it go.
additional context:
-we’ve been friends for 6 years
-I tell him ALL THE TIME that if you have an issue with someone you can’t bottle it up, you have to talk to the person or confront the issue but he always lets stuff simmer.
-we share locations, I usually check his before I call, or I text before I call and he usually calls me throughout the day, mostly to complain about people or ask for advice.
I keep seeing posts where people are asking things like “is bear the bad guy?” “is bear really the villain?” Y’all can’t be serious I mean, did we watch the same movie? Sure he didn’t know that the wish would work or what exactly it would do to Nikki, but as soon as he found out what was going on, he should’ve tried to fix the situation.
When he was on the call with customer service, he didn’t want to cancel the wish he wanted to modify it. I mean this right here goes to show that he truly didn’t care what he was putting Nikki through.
Bear is the villain of this story and if you didn’t understand that then something is wrong 🤷🏽♀️
edit: and for anyone who think that Bear was a victim, he was a victim of his own actions.
i’m actually so sick that PJ stack attack is not a real thing and he doesn’t exist because it’s so cute and I love the little video they did in episode four.
His and Anthony’s friendship was just so fun to watch
