I know this isnt directly GuP related, but it’s close enough.

so, backstory: I’m in my high schools AP: Human Geography class, and today we had to make a poster type thing for a demographic transition.

i was assigned stage three and got to work, pouring my heart out into the project.

fast forward about an hour and a half and it’s lunchtime. im talking with a friend and he informs me that we had to do modern day nations, so I had just wasted over an hour doing research and trying to make this look good all for nothing.

anyways, I’m gonna keep the paper and this is what it all says (bc my handwriting is shit)

USSR - Stage 3 (1920’s-1960‘s)

Alexandr Senaviev - Alexandr is a retired soldier of the Red Army who now works in a factory.

Katyusha Senaviev - Katyusha is a school teacher in Leningrad, teaching history.

Anatoly Senaviev - Anatoly is a young boy who attends the school his mother teaches at. he wishes one day to fight in the red army.

Nina Senaviev - Nina is the baby of the family, no goals yet.

Working on some crossover art between a few communities I'm in and I so far have Snowrunner and GuP (sorta...)

I know, I can only call this GuP art due to the Pravda insignia on the Gaz-66, but its still in the WiP phase. I plan to learn how to draw people soon so I can put Nonna and Katyusha in the front seats, and another crossover on the kung body (the thing on the back of the truck, looks like a shed)

Anyways, pls rate out of 10 and give me some tips to draw people. I need anything

Was doing contracts in the glades, and came across a river crossing abt halfway thru. BC I try to have realistic vehicles, I didn't have a snorkel on my lo4f, so I kinda js sent it.

UPDATE: made it to Crossroads garage with 4/6 spare wheels, 203/700 repair parts, 19 liters of fuel (240 in trunk parts, I filled up at gas station 2x) and everything at max health (due to repairs, except wheels, I replaced 2 of them but 3/4 had damage)

constructive criticism is greatly appreciate, I do aim to get better eventually

so, I was thinking, mud did play a pretty big part in tank logistics, as you can’t just send a tank group through a wet field and expect them to make it to their target.

and I was wondering if this could be implemented into WT somehow, maybe by adding something similar to Snowrunner series.

just imagine it: (prob for sim battles only) you are driving on the Berlin map, the weather is rainy, and you are trying to go in the water area that goes under all the bridges and such

suddenly, the tank stops, you can’t move but everything else is fine. you are now a sitting duck because you made poor route planning for the map. now you can either J out or try to convince a teammate to help you

i feel it’d make everything more immersive, yet also I see how it could piss people off (German mains)

am I just insane or nah?

so, I was watching LeftoverLegend’s video on the history of the M26 dragon wagon told through Snowrunner, and he mentioned how it was used to recover stuck or abandoned tanks that could still work.

my monkey brain began thinking about how tanks really suffered when it came to mud/wet conditions, and also how in GuP, there is nothing really like it. (Ive only seen main series and der film, if there is something like this in das finale, please correct me)

and now I’m here, thinking about how different battles would be if the tanks interacted more with the terrain (even If just for aesthetic because it looks cool as fuck)

anyways, I’m done ranting about wet dirt and tanks, please leave your opinions in the comments on whether I’m insane or not

So, Girls und Panzer is an anime where high school girls have tank fights as a sport, and in one of the episodes I spotted a Maz-535.

being how I am, I thought it was cool and finally decided to make some art of it…

lemme tell you, this thing was a BITCH to draw, the wheels in this perspective were annoying af to make, so this is the best I could do.

anyways, took me abt 1.5-2 hours to make, I’m not coloring it because it has already caused me enough suffering, so I’m leaving it as is.

I don’t think I really need to elaborate too much, but i am seriously questioning the sanity of these communities.

for starters, im addressing the fact that like half of the community is 18+ stuff (or close to) which is insane considering all the main characters are MINORS…

also, *that* manga…

we don’t mention it by name…

and finally, the fact that the mods had to come out with a statement AGAINST THE NSFW STUFF, like, its one thing to have it in the first place, but to have the mods actively trying to warn of it/ban it is crazy

anyways, what do you guys think? am I just crazy for wishing that the community was normal?
