I don’t know what it will take, but don’t the people that scream “woke” at games like God of War Laufey or Intergalactic or The Last of Us, don’t they realize that Epstein wanted you to be angry all the time and vote for Trump knowing he wasn’t ever going to change artistic expression to what YOU want? Another thing, the non-grifters that scream woke? What exactly is your goal? You want from EA and Activision to be forced to only make video games like Stellar Blade or BMX XXX or Uncharted to be lead by Nathan Drake for the rest of your lives, despite the fact that isn’t financially feasible because cutting out minorities and women as customers means they leave money on the table? It’s profitable to sell video games to everyone and the 1st Amendment forbids the government from forcing artists to make certain art. In the end, all you’ve done is made your standard of living objectively worse and even if you didn’t, all you’ve done is shorten your life by having high cortisol because you can’t force game developers to listen to YOUR whims when they are not profitable.

I finally bought Lies of P + Overture on sale. And I decided to go with the Winter Rapier cause of Guard Parry. I need to practice at getting better with it, but I’m surprised by its damage output not being as strong as I thought it was. Is there a strategy to maximize its damage output?

Basically three things are being considered (along with even more layoffs next month) Microsoft will either: A. Lay people off and then spin off Xbox as a separate subsidiary, like how LinkedIn despite being owned by Microsoft, Microsoft doesn’t tell LinkedIn how to do its job, with “Xbox the company” being focused on selling consoles by any means necessary. B. Lay people off and then spin off Xbox into a joint venture with Microsoft owning majority stake but other companies/venture capital can be stakeholders of Xbox the company. C. Lay people off and then sell Xbox for scrap to be gobbled up by anyone willing to pony up the cash for the bucket loads of IP and owning the Xbox hardware. China, the Saudis, Kushner, venture capital, anyone who wants it. Either way people will be laid off, again. By next month console war may be over and then Sony will be free to abuse their market leadership position as they please.

Valve said in their interviews with the frame that other companies can support Base Station/Lighthouse Tracking technology. Who is it they gave it to? HTC? Big screen? Feels like with so many headsets with outside tracking still being sold it would be hard for these companies to pivot if the tech just stopped existing. So who owns the tech?

Notice how I didn’t say Prime 5? IMO, as a Prime 4 apologist who’s played most of the 2D and 3D Metroids, when I beat Prime 4 for the first time I felt a little sad, because it felt like Vi-O-La bike was so close to greatness with its mechanics, I fucking loved tearing up in the desert with it. But I feel sad because Prime 5 will most likely go more traditional with the formula in attempt to get the fanbase excited to buy it. Which is fine I love Prime’s gameplay, but I feel weirdly drawn to the mechanics that were there for Vi-O-La, it makes me wish if Prime 5 won’t have the bike in it, then make a spin off with the bike. It felt so good shredding through Viewros with it.

This always bugged me, would Wallonia and Flanders finally break apart like the fringe part of Flanders wants? Would Germany just split up into places like Bavaria and Berlin? What about Austria becoming even smaller states? I question this because the point of federalism is for states to still have their autonomy to a certain extent, that can’t without turning these three countries into unitary states. Am I missing something?

I’m talking about stuff like the P.T. Map on VRChat, or (again VRChat) someone I use to follow on twitch made VR F-Zero GX before the Game developer tools update and after that update someone made VR Daytona in VRChat. Or because of the playfund that stuff isn’t allowed? I hope it’s a system where someone can make a fan game and just check a box that says “do not monetize”
