Southern US here. Lots of Nissan Altimas around but they are all beat to Sh*t. Do people buy them that way or are Altima drivers just that bad?

Bought a pristine 03 TBird with 65k miles on it, two months ago. After buying it, realized that the tires were 19 YEARS OLD!!!!! Which tells me it has been stored for extended periods of time. New tires of course.

Took it to the dealership and asked them to just crawl over it and make sure everything was okay. They were completely worthless. The service writer had never even seen one before.

Everytime we drive the car something breaks. Literally. On the ride home from the dealership, who did change the oil and service the transmission, the thermostat housing cracked and overheated. Took it to a different shop and they fixed it reasonably cheap. On the ride home from that fix, it went into limp-mode and the code was for the throttle body. The electrical connector just fell off. Easy fix. Took it to a car show and the check engine light came on. PCV valve. Another easy fix.

Today i drove it and the electric door locks just stopped working, wouldn't unlock the door. Went to lunch in it and the locks worked just fine. But after lunch I'd start the engine and the alarm would go off and shut the engine off. After starting it four times, it finally stopped setting off the alarm.

On the plus side the body is in great shape, as is the interior. The engine runs great, ice cold AC. Stereo works but the CD changer has discs jammed in it and it won't do anything.

Generally, if you run it or drive it on a super regular basis, the gremlins seem to go away. If you let it set several days without starting it, when you finally do, the gremlins take over for the first few miles.

I love the little car and I'm going to continue to drive it and fix it as necessary. In two years it will be considered an antique in my state and hopefully the value will go up.

I am 61. I first pierced my left ear lobe in 1984. Originally it was pierced at Walmarts jewelry department by a lady with a plastic gun that stabbed my ear. Off and on over the years I have worn an earring or not. I put it back in over the weekend. I like the look.

I remember back in the day, left ear piercing on a guy meant you were straight and a right ear piercing meant you weren't. What about now? In the 21st century what rules apply? I'm thinking it would be cool looking to have both ears pierced. I have a small silver hoop in my left ear and I think it would be cool looking to have one in the right as well. It's an affection. I have long snow white hair and I absolutely do not give a f*** what most people think, but I still want to know if there are rules about such.

Be careful!!! APSU in their infinite wisdom has decided to enforce parking rules all summer. People dropping kids off for camps are getting parking tickets. Employees who drive across campus for a meeting are getting ticketed in empty parking lots. I even heard they gave a parking ticket to a FIRST RESPONDER who was on campus teaching a class.

If these so called Police will ticket other first responders they will ticket anyone.

This is the first time ever they have done this and it screams CASH GRAB!!!

Has anyone had a problem with brakes sticking? I have a 2020 Gladiator and the driver side front brakes are sticking. A four mile drive to work leaves that wheel hot enough to blister skin.

Are these vehicles prone to having brake lines go bad or calipers go bad?

I need some insight.

I've been on Wegovy for 18 months. I've lost 40+ pounds without changing my diet or lifestyle, other than eating much smaller portions.

However, I have developed a reaction to artificial sweeteners. And it's becoming stronger as time goes by. I've drank diet sodas for decades. Since starting Wegovy I've noticed that too many diet sodas or too much artificial sweetener in general causes nausea. Starting in the last week, ANY artificial sweetener makes me throw up, violently. As in everything except my toe nails coming up.

Because I'm an idiot, I had a Coke Zero this morning and within an hour, I was hugging the toilet. Truthfully, I've been calorie negative since Sunday because I'm an idiot.

Has anyone else had this type of reaction to Wegovy?
