I got some for a vampire crab enclosure and fell in love with them. So now I have setup a separate tank for just isopods. How are they so cute?! 🥰

Haven’t seen them do this before. I’m pretty sure it’s a male and female. Do they really love each other? Do they breed rather easily in aquariums?

A couple have made burrows and such in the dirt, but others are hiding out in the rock wall crevices and gaps. Is that normal for them to hang out there?

It’s going to be for vampire crabs. The water section ended up a little bigger than I was expecting, but I figure I’ll add on to the rocks at some point to extend the land space.

Would something like this work to separate the land portion from the water side. I would put leca balls on the land side and build it up from there. Would this work instead of souring a bunch of big rocks to build a wall?

She’s climbing up in the back and babies are the two in the foreground. They will be 3 months on July 4th!

Only my third or so set I’ve done, but love these! Have tried nail reformation and really liked those as well. Planning on trying a few others I’ve seen recommended on here!

Have had her since she was a little baby, like smaller than an inch. She had a couple siblings that went to their own home while they were still an inch or less. So she’s been all alone since March. Since she was a juvenile when her siblings were removed, is it safe to assume the eggs are not fertile? They also look to have some fuzzy mess around the outer parts which makes me also believe infertile.

Was sold as a Nerite, but I’ve never seen one this color. Same shape as a black racer I previously had and from what I have seen his antenna look about the same too.
