I took it to a reputable auto repair shop because my Audi A6 2013 was leaking oil. I paid there $200 dollar inspection, the next day they told me it’s the oil pan and drain bolt that needs to be replaced to solve the oil leak. They wanted $1,200 dollars , which right now is out of reach. I took it to another shop with the new OEM oil pan and drain plug. They only charged me $500. Car is still leaking, but not from oil pan! Can I go back to the reputable shop and hold them accountable??? They did the inspection and misdiagnosed it? Can they brush it off by saying the work was done from a different shop??

I have purchased over 15 vehicles through Copart for years. Recently Copart salvage vehicles are not worth it. To start, having a salvage title already has your price of vehicle couple thousand less than a clean title, once you win the vehicle, plus the taxes.. plus the parts and repair, almost comes out the same as a clean title. Sorry Copart YouTube videos ruined it for people. Too many people bidding

DMV referred me to CHP for salvage inspection as the very last step before getting my plates. I already did the smog check, brake and lamp inspection and even the Vin Verification done by a DMV employee and paid the registration fees including taxes. I drove to the California Highway Patrol station , the officer came out and asked for receipts for the parts that were replaced. Showed him the receipts and then he takes my vehicle to do the inspection done on it. An hour later he comes and tells me that I did not pay the sale price I listed on the DMV paperwork and said I paid 3x the price because he saw it online auction??. He said I cannot pass CHP inspection until I go back to the DMV and pay the correct fees for the sale price he found online about my vehicle??? I told him I did not pay that amount he told me and he said “yes you did I looked it up online” I didn’t know CHP salvage Inspection requires them researching online to see how much the vehicle sold for?? Keep in mind I have taken 3 salvage vehicles before for the inspection and not one single time has an officer questioned the sale price? That seems out of line from him considering he’s not the DMV

My 13 year old German Shepherd passed away 3 days ago and I cannot get over it. He had a good life with me, got him when I was a teenager and adored him. I used to play fetch with him everyday after school, got him treats and everything. This last year I was busy with work and stress in my life that I didn’t cherish him. I would still give him wet food and give him treats here and there but didn’t play with him because he was struggling to walk. The Vetnerian told me running the X-rays that’s it’s because of his age.. Now that he passed away , I’ve been crying in my bedroom regretting not realizing that’s he’s old and might be his last months alive. My family tells me that I should be this hard on myself because he lives past his lifespan as a German shepherd.. The Vetnerian told me the same thing, but I wish I hugged him more, kissed him, and rub his belly more.

On Monday I had to leave work early because I was vomiting in the restroom and felt dizzy. I filled out form 3971 and handed over to my supervisor. He told me I CANNOT leave or it’s (II) because he doesn’t have enough carriers to cover my route. I told him I am leaving and left. I checked my lite blue and he put (LWOP) even thought I put Sick leave on the form? Isn’t that illegal? I even have doctors note from the urgent clinic where they even gave me a vaccine for my illness. They want to discipline for me for not following his order to stay? What can I do
