How do you child proof your rocker/glider chair?

As title says, we've gotten 95% of of my daughter's room (9 month old) childproofed as we've moved her to a floor bed after trying to make a crib work for months without success.

The only thing I cannot figure out how to make child safe is our glider chair. She is very mobile for a 9mo (crawling for the last few months, can stand without pulling herself up, climbs stairs like a champ) and I am very worried that she is going to pull herself up on the chair and then fall off.

Right now I join her on her floor bed after midnight when my husband goes to bed because I am so worried about her waking up in the morning before me and getting herself hurt.

The room is small and the glider is necessary as it's where we do all of her feeding, reading and it's put main tool to get her to sleep (rocking).

What have others done to make the chair safe?

Zonli Futon for 9mo?

Hey everyone, I got the 4in Zonli Futon this week as a floor mattress for my very mobile 9 month old.

She slept for 4 hours straight on this thing for the first time every in her life. Typically we put her in her crib at the beginning of the night (she would wake 3+x between 8:30-11:00pm typically) and then move her to our bed afterwards but with her crawling we needed to move to the floor.

It was only after this successful night I went and looked at other subs and people are split on whether this is a safe mattress or not? It feels very firm, when she was laying belly down on it there was no depression by her face.

We have been working on some more independent sleep but now I'm completely freaked out to leave her alone on this mattress.

I slept on it with her last night after 4 hours of being alone and my husband watching the monitor but it was wildly uncomfortable for me and I slept like shit.

I don't know if I am freaking out over nothing but I know that technically only a crib mattress is safe for her to sleep on, but I felt fine when she was next to me in my adult bed.

Does anyone use this futon and what their experience has been like?

Maybe I am just afraid to leave her alone? The entire room is child proofed so I think she is safe but I don't know what to do...

Supply crash at 9 months and I'm devastated

I have never produced enough for my daughter but up until the last month I had a very respectable supply. I would produce around 24oz in a day, leaving me to only need to make 4oz of formula. It felt good and I was really proud of myself. Exclusive pumping has been so hard but has been very rewarding for me to feed my daughter. I never thought I would make it this far in those early week.

But my husband lost his job about a month ago and my supply has tanked since. I am not sure if it is coincidence or just the pure stress but today I've only made 18oz. I'm just 4 weeks I've lost 6oz of the supply I took hundreds of hours and so many tears to build. I am still pumping 4x a day and have been doing power pumps as well but it's still dropping.

He was quite quitting a job he hated for months and they fired him due to poor job performance. I am a contractor and was thankful to only have to work 3 days a week but now I am picking up another day of clients because we need the money so I am also losing one of my days with my daughter. I feel very resentful of him because he is happy as a clam to have been fired and I was already the bread winner so now I have to pick up the pieces.

I mentally cannot handle adding in more pumping sessions so I'm just feeling devastated that my supply is dwindling and the add insult to injury, we need more formula which costs more money.

I don't know that I want any advice, this just sucks, I wanted to make it to a year but I'm worried I'm going to dry up at this rate.

Hey all,

I don't know if I'm feeling awful for no reason but I feel really bad about my 9 month olds foods.

I can only get her to eat "charcuterie-esq" foods like, crackers, some fruits, pickles and yoghurt. I can't get her to eat any meat, no matter how prepared and I'm worried about her iron. I've tried mixing cereal into the yoghurt or fruit purees but she hates the texture and will refuse to eat it.

She is currently getting all 4 top teeth at once (god bless Motrin) but has been eating this way since 6mo.

Are there other transitions foods your kiddo liked if they are only being sustained on (mini) girl dinners?

I had an absolutely horrible time with several reoccurring clogs until I had supply regulation around 12 to 13 weeks.

I think we have not had a clog, or at least a major one, since then. (8.5mo pp)

My husband has been hinting at getting me a massage for Mother's Day and I am terrified that it will be uncomfortable to lay on my stomach for that long and might lead to clogs.

At this point I'm a g cup so I can't really avoid the girls getting squished

I have an idea of making a "One Ring" smash cake and we have a little hobbit outfit but am blanking on foods to serve or decorations?

We are on a smaller budget as I know this party is more for the adults than my baby obviously and don't want to spend too much. Would like enough decorations to get a few cute pictures though!

It will be the beginning of August so we have a few months to plans.
