So, I was trying to find a good spot for my thermal plants and the one close to my base (where some sea monkey nests are) has no temperature at all.

So I found this one below the Delta Station Dock that has like 200°C when it erupts. Yet I can't place the thermal plants anywhere close to it. I even checked online and found pictures with the plants pretty much directly on the rim of the vent but in my game, it stays red and I only see the yellow outline of the vent rim.

Am I doing something wrong or did they change it so you can't build them on top of the vents anymore?

How do I upload a Steam recording to Steam itself?

So, I'm in the game, hit Ctrl+F11, let it run a few seconds and hit the key combo again to stop the recording. Then I go into my recordings, clip the recording successfully, but when I then want to upload it, I only get the choice to export it.

I have a strange issue. My Motherboard is a MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wifi, with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and a MSI Geforce 4080 Super.

Occasionally, I noticed that the computer wouldn't boot, it just stayed black. I often turned it off and on again and then it would work. One day, it happened again and I decided to just wait. 2 minutes of waiting later, I saw the MSI logo, and it booted normally.

In February, I decided to write it down to see how often it happened and a pattern emerged. It always happens during the first boot of the 1st and 20th of the month. And it's two minutes to the second as if some process times out.

February 20th, March 1st, March 20th, April 1st, April 20th and so on. Today it happened again as expected. And it's only the first boot. If I turn the computer off because I go to work and turn it back on in the evening after my shift, it boots normally.

Does anyone what that is?

Do they also come from wild plants of they are harvested by a dupe? Or do the plants have to be domesticated?

So, I defrostet my fridge for 2 hours and restartet it. Took a few minutes before the compressor began working again, had me worried that moving it had broken it.

I noticed a smell of vinegar coming off of it, even though I didn't use vinegar to clean the insides and had no vinegar in the fridge.

Also, when it's humming, it sounds as if a clock is ticking. I already checked behind it if there's maybe a puddle of coolant but nothing visible.

Where could this smell come from?

I built a Glossy Drecko stable that I want to keep at a stable population that never goes above the max of 8.

With that in mind, I made an automation where every egg is collected and sent to a side room. The side room has a critter sensor that sets a 3-egg limit, combined with an AND gate, so that if the stable contains 5 (or more) critters, AND the egg room contains 3 eggs, the conveyor chute closes and sends any excess egg to a separate room where the Dreckos get born, get sheared once and ultimately starve.

The small side room for the eggs contains another critter sensor connected to a door. That door is supposed to open whenever a drecklet is born so it can crawl into the stable room, after which the door is supposed to close again. When I set the critter sensor to Green Signal when above 0, the door simply stays closed.

To my question. Does the sensor also send a green signal when set to 1? Or phrased differently, is it a above or equal to one?
