I watched The Little Mermaid today for the first time since 2015 and it is the greatest movie ever made(Alongside Aladdin 🤭), I literally cried during Part Of Your World because I felt how she feels in the movie. She has a special interest, which is collecting human things and when she looses her voice, she’s having trouble communicating to Prince Eric like we have trouble communicating in our daily lives! Ariel has been in my top five Disney Princesses for years, and now she’s officially moved into my top three! So here’s a little backstory to my diagnosis: I was born with Autism and ADHD(AuDHD) in August of 2007, but I didn’t get officially diagnosed until August 2015 right after i turned 8 that year, and the last time i remember watching it was July 2015, a month before I got diagnosed! So to conclude this, Ariel is Autistic and she is my favorite Disney Princess right beside of Jasmine and Ariel and The Little Mermaid movies and TV series will always have a special place in my heart.

I think it would've gone one of two ways, people would’ve either loved it or people would have forgotten about it after it aired. it would’ve most likely aired on Disney Channel sometime around late march 2006, and ended around august 2009 with 3 seasons. it would’ve also gotten the chance to have reruns on Disney XD from February 2012-December 2015. It would’ve been rated “TV-PG” too. What are your thoughts on this? let me know in the comment section!
