Sounds like a completely unrealistic demand, right? Except Cover Girl just ruined a perfect powder that checks ALL of these boxes. I am devastated. I know that sounds dramatic, but my >50 self could wear this powder with just a little under eye concealer and my skin looked flawless and relatively youthful. I almost cried when I realized they reformulated and removed the talc.

Ideas for replacement? It needs to be pressed, as I want something that allows for touch ups after dancing. It also needs to be translucent. I’ve tried a lot of pressed translucent powders and most are overly matte and/or aging.

Went to Edinburgh with my boyfriend (black hair, that is actually a wig) a couple weeks ago. Got to see some friends and all the acts put on a good show. That’s faux blood from his set in later pic, lol.

Had a glitch with the outfit I planned, but I managed to put something together in a pinch with shredded tights, brooches, and 5 yards of chiffon. It brought me back to my baby bat days in the early 90s, when buying an outfit was rarely an option.

The castle itself is pretty darn maximalist, as the family who owns it have very diverse collections that pop up in surprising places (some examples in later slides). The first set is us in the garden. The second set is us in the apartment we rented. The last bit is just some shots of the place.

They’ve been out of my HG contour for weeks now, plus I’m kind of wanting to get away from Sephora.Looking for budget options that are no darker and no warmer than this. It may look a touch warmer than it is in my photo, so I also included another person’s swatches.

Needs to be a powder. Drugstore or affordable K Beauty brands with a US seller would be ideal. Thank you!
