Please share if you can. My Dad & I going through rough time financially and health wise. If you know of any resources that can help us please dm!
We’re really struggling to stay afloat while we wait on my Dad’s transplant, even then I’m not sure how we’re are going to survive months away from home when we actually have to go to Portland OR, where the VA has begrudgingly to ship us on their dime (as was always the case before the BBB act), when a kidney becomes available. I’m so worried I won’t have a job or the ability to keep our home while we’re up there.
Hello please check out my Dad’s #GoFundMe . We are really struggling to stay a float. And I know we all are right now, so if you go please just share his story it would be very appreciated!
We’ve been battling the VA and Medicaid for the benefits he had before the Big Beautiful Bill.
At times over the past year we have been food insecure, almost lost our home, had to scrape every last penny together to just keep our utilities on, and had our only vehicle break down.
While things have gotten soooo much better and at least the VA is helping more, since the story reached their ears, but we have a long way to go to get back to normal.
Help me keep fighting for my Dad!
Thank you all so much!
We have won this battle the VA caved aesthetic committed “an error on their part“ when they told us they wouldn’t pay for the last-minute trip for my dad’s kidney transplant, to Portland, Oregon.
We still have a lot going wrong in our lives, but y’all helping us has been such a godsend. We’re feeling more hopeful than ever.
If you can still please share our story we’d really appreciate it. When my Dad’s transplant comes up I have to be with him in Portland for 2-3 months.
Thankfully my workplace has been super supportive and worked with me through these difficult times to keep me employed even though I’ve missed and am going to miss so much. ((#ReadyOneIndustries now hiring. Dm for referral 😅))
Please like and share 💗
Thanks Again,

Please help
I never thought I'd be asking for help, but after losing my job when Freedom Forever filed for bankruptcy, I'm doing everything I can to rebuild. I'm currently working at Waffle House and have a warehouse job interview on Monday, but I'm still trying to recover after not receiving what I believe I'm owed for my final wages and PTO. My biggest goal is keeping my van. It gets me to work, job interviews, and medical appointments, and if things continue to go south, it may also be the only place I have to stay. If you're able to donate, I'd be incredibly grateful. If not, please share my GoFundMe with your family and friends. Every share helps. Thank you for your support.
Thank you all for the support and shares. Fitfam could never match the support and love and shares my dad gets here!!!!
Help my Dad out please. Share his story if you can. I’m so so freaking thankful for my community rn we’ve had a lot of support and great advice come in. Thank you El Paso!!!!
On top of waiting and being scared we can’t make it to his kidney transplant on time, our only car just broke down, and we can barely keep our utilities on. We’re on the edge of loosing our home too.
I’m working full time, and it’s not enough to keep us afloat and deal with all the curve balls too. Just today my Dad needed a surgery and I had to miss yet another day of work to be there.
Support A Disabled Vet 🫡 🦅
My dad is a disabled veteran who is currently battling end stage renal disease and waiting for a life-saving transplant. He also spent 25 years as a dedicated teacher, helping countless kids and even coaching sports like football when he physically could. Giving so much of himself to his students took a lot out of him, but he always put others first.
Recently, the VA informed us that they will no longer pay up front for last minute travel expenses related to flying all the way to Portland, Oregon for his transplant and staying there for a two month recovery, leaving us to cover these costs ourselves. On top of this, we are at risk of losing our home—our water has already been cut off, and our electricity is next. I’ve been struggling with my own health issues, which have left me severely underemployed and fighting just to keep us fed. To make matters worse, our car broke down, taking away our only means of convenient transportation.
The funds raised will go directly toward travel expenses for my dad’s transplant, helping us keep our home and utilities running, and hopefully fixing our car so I can get him to appointments and errands. Every bit of support will help us stay afloat during this incredibly difficult time and give us a chance to rebuild.
Any support you can give would mean the world to us. I’ve been through so much over the past years—losing my partner to cancer, losing jobs due to health issues, and watching my dad grow sicker. It’s hard to keep everything together when things just keep getting harder. I truly believe that once we can get out of this dark place, I can get us back to thriving so we can be ok enough to help others too.https://gofund.me/68cf24678
