My partner and I just got engaged! We have been discussing the possibility of getting legally married this year in October, and then doing our dream elopement next year. We may be in a position where I need to get on his insurance early next year, which is one of the reasons for us to get married this year. I wish we could do the elopement this fall but we just don’t have the time or budget to do so on such short notice.
We are both having a hard time deciding best course of action. I’m here looking for advice! If you have gotten legally married and then eloped/had a wedding later on, how did that go? Is it silly of us to get married then have our elopement next year since we are already married?

My fiancé proposed at Zion National Park with my dream ring.
Backstory:
We went shopping at a local, family-owned jewelry store on Valentine’s Day this year. I had no idea what my style was, but I knew I wanted blue sapphire and something different. We look through a bunch of options and nothing is speaking to me. A man that was previously speaking to another employee (daughter of the owners, how sweet) left and the person helping us went back to get more options for us that hadn’t been put out yet.
She comes back with the ring that’s pictured here. Brand new, brought in by the man who had just left. I fell in love with it immediately.
It felt so special that it came in while we were there and it fit everything I wanted. My fiancé and I felt meant to be the day we met, and this ring was the same. If you made it all the way here, thanks for reading. <3

My fiancé and I are planning an intimate elopement in Banff National Park next year.
We’re considering either July for the wildflowers or October, which is our dating anniversary. It will be a very small ceremony with just the two of us and two guests.
We’re currently looking for a photographer and/or videographer for the ceremony and portraits afterward. We love moody, romantic, and whimsical imagery.

I took a jewelry making class for fun and it’s been my go to when I have down time. I know we’ve all struggled with seeing cute jewelry, getting it, and everything is a choker or cutting circulation. I have no interest in being a drop shipper, but I am thinking about starting an Etsy shop for plus sized jewelry!

Looking for advice on how to calm this down and clear it out. I recently introduced azelaic acid a few weeks ago to address redness and have only used my normal retinol once because I didn’t want to overdo it. Current routine is gentle cleanser, moisturizer, SPF, and azelaic acid every few nights. All acne safe products.
My skin is mostly breaking out around the chin/jawline and feels really inflamed/reactive lately. I’m avoiding sugar/dairy and doing everything “right” for my skin.
I’m going to Zion + the Grand Canyon in 3.5 weeks and would love recommendations for what treatments/products could calm this down before then. I am open to anything at home or a specific service I should book with an esthetician. I am in southern Indiana but willing to travel!
