I’m having a really annoying issue with Adobe Media Encoder and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows a fix.

Whenever I open Media Encoder and try to render a video, the Renderer option is stuck on “Software Only” and grayed out, so I can’t select GPU acceleration at all.

The weird thing is:
If I go into Settings once, then click OK, the Renderer suddenly changes to GPU acceleration and works normally again. In settings GPU acceleration in set as standard rendering option, also with a grayed out box.

But the problem comes back EVERY single time I restart Media Encoder. So I have to go to settings every time before I can simply start rendering...

My GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.

Has anyone had a similar issue with Media Encoder 2026?
Any ideas what could permanently fix this?

I had to reset my PC. Now I’ve reinstalled RPG Maker MV from Steam, but my .rpgproject files don’t have an icon or an associated application to open them with. If I select RPG Maker MV under “Open with,” the files just get the RPG Maker MV icon. However, I know there used to be a blank file with the RPG Maker MV icon used as the default icon for .rpgproject files. Why am I not getting that icon for my .rpgproject files anymore? Did something change in newer Steam versions?

So I was using Msi Center on extreme Performances to get my games to run a bit better. But whenever I try to encode a Video in Adobe Media Encoder 2026 it crashed or even worse gave me a bluescreen and rebooted my PC afterwards.

After uninstalling the msi Center nothing like that happend anymore.

I was wondering if there is a way to fix this?

I guess the msi center detected the 90% GPU and 50% CPU during encoding as a problem and did everything it fix the issue. But thats just my guess on why this might have happend...

When I try to Export a Video with the Adobe Media Encoder it freezes after so time (Windows no Feedback style) or it can give me a very short bluescreen with my PC fully rebooting.

I tried re installing Media Encoder and reinstalling my Graphics Card Drivers (Nvidia Geforxe 3060 Ti).

Nothing helps.

Any ideas?

Motherboard: MPG Z490 Gaming Edge Wifi

Yesterday I had to reset my PC. I was using msi Dragon Center on it and everything was great. GPU was running on like 3-6% while doing nothing on Desktop. Without msi Dragon Center its already at 18-30% while doing nothing. I was notnally running Performance Mode and I guess that helped a lot in Balancing Things.

But now after the PC reset I can't install the msi Dragon Center right anymore. It always just comes with just the Home and My Devices Option and no Game Mode or Performance/Balanced in the Top right at all.

If I install Msi Center i have a different Problem. I can get to Performance/balanced etc after installing the right Tool, but it changes absolutly nothing.

I tried multiple reinstalls with Clean Center Master inbetweens. I am all out of options. Anyone Else got any ideas? 😞
