As of Saturday afternoon, all three teams are 60-63. A win tonight against the Phillies would give us a half-game lead over the Tigers, and if Texas loses to the A's we would be up one game on them.

I thought you guys would be interested in hearing about the prospects you acquired for Minter. This guy follows our minor leaguers closely and does his own rankings, and he's always pretty spot on with his analysis.
Agbayani hasn't played much, but Amick was our system's home run leader and he talks a fair bit about him, the kind of hitter he is now, and how he projects defensively.

Probably not a very unique thing, but I like to use full lineups of the Topps Now cards and the less popular promo cards.
I have about 5-10 Topps cards with a P5 under 100 and two of them in the 30-50 range. All from playing offline (so the grind is pretty slow) and I don't use created stadiums.
This year I haven't flipped at all, so I can't affort the super expensive cards anyway, but I've had more fun doing this than I did last year when I flipped my way to a million stubs. It feels a bit more realistic too because the Topps cards usually have major weaknesses in one area or another.
Milestone card?
Delay of game at the very least. I walk the dude and he not only stands on the plate and draws a line in the dirt with his bat (auto ejection), he also gives the ump and Mauer that smug look which could be considered taunting. Then he literally pimps the walk, like working a walk is some incredible achievement.
What does the talisman show? Two people scissoring with a baby on the outside. These two people are Elgin and Clara and the baby will come "OUTSIDE" of Sophia.
This is why Elgin is so protective of Fatima and the baby - he's a natural father figure. Great bone structure, big, strong body, strong jaw - who else does that sound like?
That's right - Clara.
Now you might say, why lock the doors? Let's look at the act of locking a door.
What is the door? And how do you unlock a door? A key, yes, which is a phallic symbol representing a penis (key) entering a door (vagina).
Sophia/MiY knows this because she/he is 500+ years old and has seen how babies come about, and has to teach Elgin and Clara this since they're both virgins.

Springer just blasted his 300th homer at Fenway. Seeing as he hasn't gotten a new card in a while, what do you think the chances are he gets a milestone card?
Might be my favorite card out right now. Great swing, good speed, and elite fielding.
Just a warning to anyone doing honor mode runs - there's a cat outside of a certain tower in Act 2 that can lead to breaking your oath if you make a vague dialogue choice that doesn't really suggest you'll do anything crazy. Be careful with that cat!
I don't think I've ever had this much trouble with a game. Whether it's server lag, menus breaking, full blown crashing, collision physics completely missing when a ball hits most stadium walls, and basic gameplay just not working at times.
It reminds me of old school Bethesda games on 360. Even the graphics are similar!
For the past week or so my pitchers TR/K is sky high. Like, to the point where I'm wondering if something with the game is broken.
TR/K is, of course, "Twirl Rate per Strikeout" or the number of times a pitcher immediately does a twirl after a strikeout.
Today I pitched two separate games. Game #1 was Tatsuya Imai, who had 7 K's and a 100% TR/K.
Yes... 7 out of 7 K's were immediately followed by a giddy twirl. Now, I don't watch Houston very often and I haven't seen Imai pitch more than a few innings this year, but in the game I did watch he didn't twirl once. Not a single time. So a 100% TR/K seems a bit unrealistic.
Game #2 had Cam Schlittler on the bump, who struck out 5. Surprisingly, he also had a 100% TR/K rate. 5 strikeouts, 5 twirls. I've watched Schlittler a couple times this year and while it could be argued that he's done some half-twirls (turning toward the outfield after the K), I have never seen him do a full twirl.
I'm wondering if it's just me, or are you guys noticing unrealistically high TR/K percentages?
I haven't played for 2 seasons and don't plan to play this game or anymore 2k in the future so I decided to drain my account.
Anyway, I didn't really expect to get anything, and that's exactly what happened. My results:

It's all good. I'm not playing the game anyway so I probably wouldn't have used any of the cards. This is exactly why I stopped playing though. Just wanted to share.
