As the title suggests, I’ve been looking into these tactical military SOF shooters and I stumbled across these two FPSs. Since I really like customization I was kind of leaning towards Operator but I thought to myself: “Who knows, maybe ground branch also has it”. So my question still stands: what should I pick?
So I'd think my HQ is pretty decent. I should get around 17 precious metals a day, but that is just not happening for some reason. They do get other materials, just not the precious metals. Is this somehow fixable or do I have to wait until another update for them to fix it? Thank you!
So I am planning to join the Air Force and I will get a degree soon. Since I really am interested in both the SOF (STS or CCT) and being a pilot, I'm hoping to do both. I am aware this will be extremely difficult but is that theoretically possible?
Hello, I’ve been having this issue for a decent time now. If you look at the low clouds all away at the horizon, you can see it kind if resembles Minecraft clouds. Is this fixable? And yes I do have clouds to the max graphic settings. The only documentation I found of this was in a post 5 years ago, so I want to know if since then the issue is fixable or something, but thanks in advance!
I have gotten relatively bored in singleplayer and multiplayer servers seem to chaotic for me. I live in Europe and am not really flexible in terms of times and like I said in the title, I don’t have a mic so I can’t do VC. I do like the rather realistic side of stuff so yeah is this even possible?
so i booted up into dcs the other day and noticed this really bad input lag, stuttering and screen tearing. i tried to find a solution to no avail. my PC should be able to handle dcs decently well for light missions. here are the specs:
rtx 5060
ryzen 5 5500GT
32GB DDR4-3200
A520M-Wifi
DCS is installed on a SSD
the picture above shows my settings and i also use atmosX sometimes. my frame timing is pretty even overall and i do get pretty consistent fps at 90 fps. this does happen in every mission and even in missions where i didnt put anything.
EDIT: i noticed the screen tearing and stuttering is as good as gone, but the frames go from frame a to frame b to frame a again and then to frame c. i dont know the term but i hope that kind of explains something
im no modelling expert, but given they have the external model and animations to base their modelling on, will this save them some time? they also said that the flight model will be based off of the fc version just a little bit more enhanced. they will add a bunch of new features including the external model, but again, they can base it a little bit off of the fc model. all that said, what are your estimates?
so after playing dcs for a few months i couldnt help but notice that it looked good but not realistic enough. is there any mod to make dcs look better next to reshade?
as the title implies, i got the F-15EX mod and want to drop bombs with it. Is that possible? I also only got rockets to work and am curious if it is possible to drop dumb/laser guided bombs.
So I installed the Ground Crew mod from Massu, and upon booting DCS up, the NPCs didn’t appear under the Infantry, Unarmed or Structures tab. I did install it into the Tech folder, I did unzip it and the file was there but only with textures. It said it was also v1.1. Did I go wrong somewhere?
I installed Massuns ground crew asset pack and I extracted it to the tech folder, but when I booted up DCS and looked to see if the ground crew was there, it wasn’t. It wasn’t under the infantry section, the unarmed section, it just wasn’t there. When I looked in the folder, I just saw a lot of textures. I couldn’t find anything on the internet. Where did I go wrong?
For the next DCS sale (god knows when that is) I want to get the supercarrier and a naval plane. I am tending towards the F-14 because jester and it’s just freaking cool but idk if that’ll fit my playstyle as I own an F-16 and basically only use that. I also like bombing stuff so that’s another plus for the F-18. Overall I don’t know because I kinda like them at the same level. So what should I get?
I know this whole ordeal is kinda old but I’m still in the stages of grief because I can’t get the F-15E. Is there like any news on this dispute? In hindsight this is a really dumb question idk why I’m posting this
so I built a PC at the start of the year and i'm very happy with it. as the title says my PC audio jack on my case (thermaltake view 170 ARGB) just suddenly stopped working like maybe 2-3 weeks ago after i moved my furniture around including my PC and now the audio jack isnt working. my PC is budget, I dunno if that helps and I'm open to posting my specs if needed. thanks!
I downloaded the Grinelli F-22A mod and for some reason I can only see it in F10 or any other external view. The same goes for other mods that require the FC3 F-15C (which I have) so that’s why I’m asking. Does anyone know how to fix this? i only put the folder into the Aircraft folder.
